We've reached the yearly seasonal point where people will rage-cry about Janna, eventually getting her double-gutted.... only for her to rise through the ranks yet again next year and have the same people rage-cry about Janna eventually getting her double-gutted.

its difficult to actually meaningfully nerf Janna, Id say out of all the nerfs she has ever had, like maybe 25% of them actually toned her down, her kit is amazing and number nerfs don't do much to change that The deciding factor into what tones her down is her ability to be countered, back in the day poke supports would gladly pick into Janna and show her who is boss, but ever since they kept getting nerfed and nerfed over a long amount of time, it turns out that Janna now counters poke supports like Sona and Lulu who were once very difficult for Janna to deal with

A good karma absolutely destroys janna.

She's fast enough to catch her.

That root is deadly.

She can deal more damage than Janna can shield.

Luckily I've seen like 1 karma in the past year.

Surely you jest?

Every single one of her skills has taken it up the Storm's Fury. Literally all 4 skills and her passive have been repeteadly gutted.

Actually, according to champion.gg, there are at least 8 other supports with a win rate over 50%(that are role-specified supports, so Brand and Poppy aren't included in this). And the reason why Janna has such a high winrate is because she counters a lot of divers in the meta( XinZhao , Jax , etc.). Although I think the passive movement speed from her W could be toned a bit.

Against Janna. Read the OP again. Not a single support in the game averages over 50% winrate against Janna. That means she statistically has the advantage in every single possible matchup, even if her advantage is that she's more useful than her laning opponent in teamfights to the point that having a disadvantage in lane doesn't matter.
