Will snowball meta ever end this season?

Was playing Annie vs Lee Sin on mid. Accidentaly lost fight to him on level 2 (understimated his early damage). After that he dived me under tower on level 6 and then just started to roam bot and kill it non-stop. He finished game with 23-4-7 score. Like Riot always say when players ask them why Lee dominate on Rift 3 seasons already: Lee has a great weakness - he sucks in late game. So what, now there is no late games? How to stop this blind early-killing machine from snowballing in early snowball meta?

Don't constantly die is how you counter that. I'm not sure what answer you're expecting, any champion will do a lot of damage when fed, snowballing isn't specific. That being said, your bot lane did feed pretty crazy.

"Dive" - I used this word. Don't know how do not die if I'm safe only under fountain.

Teammates. If they're strong enough to take your tower then it's not worth it to hide under tower where they can get your kill gold too. Roam somewhere else.

Top lane has the worst situation with the snowballing meta because they can only ever roam mid or stay top. Maybe a tp bot but it's not as fruitful or reliable long term. Mid can roam bot or top and bot has a duo team that can also roam mid so the weight isn't on just one player doing poorly.

You stop him by not dieing or if someone does die to him, you snowball yourself to nullify his potency. There's 5 players in 4 different position: Top, Bot, Mid and Jungler. If a jungler gets snowball then at least one of those lanes or your own jungler needs to get snowball. Preferably 2. It gets annoying when you realize sometimes you just can't compete anymore, but it's better to recognize that and disengage/back off/turtle rather than try and stick your chin out to recuperate and get smacked again. The snowball meta is kinda annoying like that.

Turtle? In 6th season? As know there is no more turtle option in game.

Instead of calling it turtling we'll call it hare-ing because we can't hide under towers, we can only run back and try not to feed gold. Same concept, being defensive, but with poorer results and just praying your teammates can make up the difference somewhere else.
