Leona's stun needs to be increased for 0.45 seconds

I'm a Leona main, and I have a few things to say ...

I wasn't proud of playing her when the bug happened. You know, the 4 second stun bug that made her win rate skyrocket. I was happy when Riot fixed this, but then I found out her Q was made to last only 1 second. While that isn't a major problem ... it's not going to help me dish out my combo on certain champions.

For example, Irelia comes in and starts attacking my Caitlyn with her combo. I immediately go in and do http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.17.1/img/spell/LeonaShieldOfDaybreak.png to try and stop her from killing my ADC. After, I do my http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.17.1/img/spell/LeonaSolarFlare.png to stun her even longer. Problem is, 1 second isn't going to cut it because her build shortens the duration of stuns, meaning she'll snap out of it in less of a second, so i'm most likely going to miss my ultimate. In other words, a good pool of champions have a build that makes my Q stun not even last a mere second so I won't be able to lock people down properly.

I've played several games where someone like DrMundo Fizz Garen weren't stunned long enough for me to use my ultimate right after. They either moved out of the way or did their special to escape it entirely before finishing off my ADC or squishies. Meanwhile, champions like Morgana's http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/6.17.1/img/spell/DarkBindingMissile.png snares someone for 3 whole seconds. All I ask is maybe making Leona's stun extend to 0.45 seconds (1.45 in total)? That way, it'll just be enough to cast my ultimate onto them so they're not going to immediately escape after, and also allow my allies to actually escape / go on them? If not, this isn't a huge deal but I would like my main to actually not waste R just because my Q isn't doing enough to make certain champions stay away from ruining my allies.

My friend plays Leona and usually will stun Ult and then E while the ult is up for melee divers. He's never missed his ult even on a max tenacity Irelia. For ranged champions since they usually don't build tenacity he will E, stun and then ult. Again I've never seen him miss a single ult.

He probably ults first, then goes in which is probably better than the method i'm describing here. If you do Q first then ult, most likely they will escape so your friend is smart by playing the 2nd option by doing the R + E + Q combo. This is effective but in certain situations I am in the Q range, and it seems to go hit or miss so I also resort to the combo your friend goes by for now.

Mundo is notorious for his ability to achieve insane levels of tenacity with his immolation ability. Hes really not a good example for why leona should get a longer stun. Leona's cc is fine.

Yet Morgana Zyra can hold him down longer than Leona's Q could. I admit, Mundo may not be the best example but I know other champs / supports can hold people like him down longer.

Zyra's stun has weak early level roots and is also disgustingly easy to dodge outside of point blank.

Morgana's bind is a hilariously slow projectile and gets minion blocked. They're also mages, not supports.

Morgana/Zyra's Q/E are also roots, not stuns (there is a difference!), and are dodgeable skill shots. Leona's Q is a stun that procced by an autoattack, and you are completely ignoring how Leona has her E and R to also hold people down. Be smart about how you chain cc.

Against a high-tenacity diver, Zyra's root lasts about half a second at max rank, which is less than a quarter of the time it takes her ult to kick in. Morgana can pull off between 1 and 1.5 seconds of root (depending on build and champion), which again is less than half of the time for the ult to activate. Leona is not alone in struggling to deal with diving fighters and assassins: if she didn't, what would be the point of divers and assassins?

So you want Leona's Q to crowd control comparably to Morg Q/Zyra E when Leona has two additional crowd control abilities she can instantly follow up with. Right.

Leona made a trade off recently. She lost some base damage and stun duration on Q, but then the Q's cooldown went down. It is actually immensely frustrating how little down time Leona's Q has now. Like, at 40% CDR it's what? A three second cooldown, that's insane. That means for every 3 seconds Leona stays on her target, they only get 2 seconds of not being CC'd per usage of Q
