Ranked and New players really needs to be relooked at

Just played a game with an Ezreal as their second game of ranked. They won the first apparently.

But the lane phase seemed to be okayish as we were fighting soraka caitlyn bot and we were Leona Ezreal. Normally it should have been a stomp. But obviously this was some noob who jumped straight into ranked without decent runes, did idk what with their masteries (they had DFT), and no idea how to build.

I looked wondering why he was doing no damage at around level 4 after he died the first time when I killed the enemy ADC. item 3024 item 2015. I was like wtf is this. I said ezreal you have no damage. Next time I see him he has item 3024 item 1053. Fast forward 30 minutes in the game. item 3153 item 3024 item 3146 item 3671. At this point I lost any faith I had in this Ezreal (the little I had from watching him fight and face tank a darius). The 4 of us on our team were fighting them even every single fight, but Ezreal was just so bad/new that he literally offered almost nothing. Making the game near impossible to win even with really good team fights I felt on our part (saying a lot for a group of randoms)

Don't get me wrong this isn't hostility at the Ezreal, he listened to the team and actually listened to our suggestions, but he was dumped somewhere he really shouldn't have been yet. No one really hounded him. He didn't really talk.

**FOR THOSE OF YOU WISHING TO SKIP THE STORY, AND GET TO MY MAIN POINT **

I have thousands of games in league. This is at Silver 3 elo (just came back to ranked after basically being placed in silver 5 from gold 4 and being kind of mad about that). For my placements I was put against Diamond and Plat's for the first 7 placements and bronze for the last 3. I finished with a 6/4 streak. So I want to know why if you stick someone in gold 4 against bronze and diamond players while new players are being dumped into above average elos.

But I still hold the question. Why did Riot halve the xp to 30. WHY? People diving into ranked at level 30 were bad enough. But now they get there with half the IP and half the in game experience.

At the very least this game should go up to 60. Bring back the old cap to get people up to 60 but leave 30 at where it is now and all the rewards for hitting 30. Maybe even give people some free tier 2 runes for leveling up to 60.

It's bad enough trying to solo climb as it is, but when stuff like this happens. Riot you really do need to space out ranked a bit more, level 30 straight into ranked was really bad before, now it's just even worse with all the premades.

i feel like in placement matches, and when you are getting a feel for a new players current rank, they should start low, in the middle of bronze, and work their way up to silver/gold later on in their placement matches through consistent wins. i find it all too daunting that unranked players are initially placed against high silvers and then turning out to be worse than bronze. resulting in a huge burden for those first few games.

I more of feel like new players should be put around Bronze 1 MMR and then either go up or down from there. The placement system is really wonky in general. Idk why I won 4/7 games vs. plats and diamonds, but won 2 games vs. bronze players and still face a demotion of almost 6 ranks. (I would have guess it putting me at like Silver or 1 for beating so many higher MMR players.)

all you need to do to escape silver is to think like a diamond. stop thinking like a silver. try to teach the new kids how to think like a diamond once you know, and you'll be on your way to gold soon.

I was gold. It was much better there (I mean it still existed but it was less frequent, I guess the middle ground kind of breeds that). But the problem I have is that half the people in silver are toxic. So even if you have a rough game or someone else does. Odds are your team is going to flame and even though you may mute them the damage is already done.

mid silver is the 2nd biggest cesspool out there (the other is plat 1/5). I fully understand. However, if you think like a high elo, you can use the toxicity of silvers against them. For example, I notice you play alot of Alistar/Leona/Blitz. The most tilting thing you can do after a kill is pretend to back (if healthy) or back and then not head bot (if you need to heal), and instead gank mid or top. It completely destroys the morale of the enemy team if the gank succeeds and creates huge infighting between solo laners and their bot lane. Basically - whatever is bad for the opponent, is good for you. Anything that annoys them, should make you happy. Now that doesn't mean be toxic - in fact I suggest muting allchat. It means that if you put yourself in the other laner's shoes, and you think "damn, if this happened right now I'd be super pissed", then do it.
