Can we please buff AP carries back into relevance and get shit like Camille, Fiora, and Irelia out of mid lane?

Irelia's winrate as middle is #17 and most of the champs above her are mages. The top two winrates are gimmick bullshit (taric and nocturne)

She has 52% win rate at mid and almost 70% ban rate.

Her entire kit is literally made to shit on mages, between the 800 range stun, 1300 range gap closer, and her ability to cut burst in half (and then retaliate with damage). How would she not be good at mid?

let's start by getting this shit Heimerdinger Ryze Swain Xerath out of top lane. There seems to be some sort of weird merging of these lanes going on and it's becoming a lot more common.

Why would that be a bad thing to have more champions in both lanes, assuming they're appropriately balanced in the future with this in mind?

It wouldn't be if they were balanced for those lanes, but they are not, and if they were, would they still be balanced for mid? The same shit happend when Mages started going bot lane as a support, they got nerfed because their damage was oppressive to the point where dedicated supports couldn't compete with them and they no longer became suited for mid lane due to the nerfs.

Gangplank was always played mid? He is pretty much an AD mage. Only since season 8 his primary role is top.

You mean mages arent hard dominating mid lane for a singular patch?????

why is it ok for mages to be overpowered and dominate mid for years but suddenly if assassins are strong for 1 patch its a problem? "its ok if MY champions are strong but if YOURS becomes strong how dare you"
