Stormrazor change

Do you guys think that Stormrazor should have a longer interval time in between the guaranteed crit that scales down with bonus critical strike rather than attack speed? Currently, it scales down with bonus attack speed as we all know, so at level 1 with 34% bonus attack speed (Stormrazor + Precision Tree), the Stormrazor proc goes down to 2.24 seconds that you have to wait for each critical strike. At level 9 with 87% bonus attack speed (Stormrazor + Precision tree + Attack speed boots), the proc goes down to 1.6 seconds in between each crit. Being able to deal 500+ damage with a guaranteed crit every 1.6 seconds at level 9 seems a bit much imo. At least with the Stormrazor proc scaling off of bonus critical strike, it won't scale off of the Stormrazor itself or Runes and you have to build critical strike in order for the proc to reduce in time. These numbers are without the Alacrity rune also for more clear results.

I think they should change it to be more like RFC and Shiv. :/ that moving and AAing charge it up. They could reduce the damage on the guaranteed crit by a lot to compensate. This would make it a better item for ADCs and a less good item for Assassins

That's what I was thinking also, but I think ADCs would just do the old build route with BF > Zeal item > IE rather than buying the Stormrazor. With the IE change and Stormrazor being introduced into the game, it seems like you're trolling if you don't go Stormrazor first item unless your an On-Hit champion or MissFortune.

I don't like Stormrazor personally; I usually go BF to Zeal Item into IE instead. I'd build Stormrazor if it was like RFC and Shiv.

Stormrazor really just doesn't make sense as an item. If you can build it and be fine with just the 160% crit, why is it any better than other fighter options? If you need to build additional crit for it, why does it exist when you should have to build 100% if you want 100%?

It's just ridiculous.

Idk man. It's one of those controversial items that shouldn't be in the game honestly. It's created more problems than solved ones and they seem to want to keep it in the game for a while. Currently, it just does too much damage against targets without health/armor at too early in the game. Since item 3031 is the way it is also, you have to go item 3095 first item to be relevant unless you're an on-hit user or MissFortune.

The issue is that there are too many "Burst after X" Items

item 3095 item 3147 item 3087 item 3078

What they need to do is make Duskblade and Stormrazer passives same name Unique like Triforce/Lichbane and Hextech have.

This would fix some of Wu/Shaco/Jhin issues

100% agree. When I saw Stormrazor was coming out a while ago, I already knew it was going to be broken on Assassins and just burst AD champions. Think that would a lot if the combined the passives.

"Broken" on the champions it was designed for? Newsflash; Storm razor is a replacement for shiv+infinity edge, the assassin "full build" finishing touch items.

Its not meant to be a marksman item, and nerfing it in favor of marksmen is just silly.

Stormrazor is a critical strike replacement since you have to build Infinity Edge to deal damage and a Zeal item for the critical strike. If you combine both of those together, you come up with Stormrazor. If Infinity Edge was the same and they implemented Stormrazor, then I'd say yes it wasn't meant for marksmen. Stormrazor was their idea of helping crit ADs come online earlier than 25 minutes since you have to build IE and Zeal item if you didn't go Stormrazor.

No... It... It really isnt meant for marksman. At all.

Storm razor is meant for casters. This includes; Assassins AD casters Non-attack-speed marksmen (Graves, Jhin, Draven, Quinn, Corki)

Infinity edge was nerfed for non-marksmen and made similar for marksmen. Storm razor was added as compensation to casters and assassins, mostly assassins, for the removal of infinity edge from their major builds.

Theres a REASON why its got the delay and why its meant to pair with only one zeal item. And it aint because "muh marksman need earlier powerspikes!". In fact, storm razor is the definition of a newbtrap item. It seems really good, but on general marksmen its a snowball item that furthers an already secure lead. In any other situation the traditional BF sword into zeal item is miles better.
