You know what I find ironic?

Is when a mid lane mage goes to support, rito calls it "diversity". Yet when a support tries to have fun in a solo lane, rito calls it "extremely toxic and uninteractive gameplay". This is like saying it is fine for a middle school student to go to an elementary school and bully all the children, but it is not ok for an elemntary school student to go to a middle school.

Something something supports with a bunch of utility get really obnoxious to fight against when they have a lot of damage something something.

This is rito's reasoning of why it's not okay for a support to go solo. Supports are meant to protect and enhance allies, or to set up kills for them/peel. This is what their strengths should be. If a support can easily succeed in a solo lane by getting their own kills, it either means they are doing too much damage(toxic), or that their utility allows them to avoid damage from the enemy by healing or shielding themselves so much that they can win with their low damage (uniteractive), usually they are doing both. It can be difficult to play against a champion who brings utility but is capable of doing their own damage. Example, Ivern becoming a dominant pick in high elo, resulting in nerfs to his shield. I wish supports viable in other roles was a thing. I played some Sona mid and stomped in ranked back when she got her recent update, and ridiculous movespeed buff, which was nerfed shortly after.
