I don't like the new armor thing on supports.

It looks like it'll create what I call inverse Soraka syndrome, where it'll simply be impossible to properly focus the support, even if they're the target that NEEDS to go down.

Imagine this, you're on top of Braum. You knock him down in HP but then he puts up his wall and his ADC starts draintanking him.

And before you say, "Well you should've been focusing his ADC instead of him." You are probably right, but there are thousands of different scenarios depending on what's been going down and the fact is that this closes off one avenue for assassins/fighters to pick off a critical member of the enemy teamfight.

Or to, more simply, word this; as long as you're playing a support that can kite the opponent to only hit him/herself (Janna, Braum, Bard, Taric, etc. Especially Taric and Braum though), you will be able to take scenarios in which you would've traded yourself to protect your ADC and both of you will survive with impunity. This is an ungodly "peel as meatshield" item.
