Or make it a component item.

Drop the dagger and its combine cost a bit and have it build into an item with MR stacking but not stealing.

Have it combine with a second Recurve to upgrade to 4.2% max HP magic damage and the MR stealing passive.

Teemo E and nashor scales with AP. I'd rather have a rabadon opposed to botrk.

yea this

Orangesilk10 votes

No pls. The item is fine as a very niche item on On-Hit champions.

Those are already hard to balance as it is, we don't want to break Jax Irelia Kayle XinZhao MasterYi since we all know how toxic those champions are when overtuned.

Erractic Eick2 votes

Yes, please don't mess with Wit's End, because it will invariably end up with my man Jax being nerfed, and I don't enjoy having my champion's strength tuned off an item I rarely use.

"Damage scales now from 10-42 over the course of the game." -Riot

There goes my Gunblade Rush on Morde >_>

Mira Arya Enthe2 votes

Depends on how they do it with this one. I still rush gunblade on Soraka :^) along with my full tank regen build.

Weasel Kensei2 votes

Gunblade on Soraka isnt good, not sure why people do it. I know they think its something special... but the math just doesnt bear out as a real sustain method vs just filling that spot with HP.

If you had 40% CDR and 1,000 AP on raka, you could Starcall every 2 seconds for 580 damage before resist. At 15% ommivamp going down to 5% for AoE of Starcall, that would be 580 X 0.05 = 29 HP per target every 2 seconds, or 14.5 per target per second... before resist... with 1,000 AP.

At just 500 AP with 40% CDR still the number falls to 20.25 per target, or 10.125 HP per target per second.

Now raka hitting her Q at all gives her some serious regen. Its per half second too, so at 5% AP per half second, building a bigger AP item in the same spot as gunblade would more effectivly heal her on a per cast basis. Sure the every 2 second spam would win out with gunblade, but a seraphs embrace could easily have 50% more AP and then healing per single Starcall is much better overall for the higher AP item.

You wanna build gunblade on raka, I mean I cant stop you, but your doing it to amuse yourself, not because its some secret clever move thats keeping you alive. If youre getting it for the slow also, there are other utility items you could put in that slot that still aid your team better since rakas Starcall is only 10% weaker as a slow than gunblades...

Skins Project2 votes

Wut ._. I rush a nashors into a gunblade... Oh wait was this a support build Oops -Raka top out

CancerBasedGod1 votes

Gunblade into nashors is better. The flat attack power contributes more that nashors does before building AP.

Skins Project1 votes

Hmm. I guess. I guess the "flat" attack power is higher but nashors gives the on hit passive. I guess it def helps if your going for earlier bursts/turret kills?

Backup4now1 votes

Eh? What is stopping you from rushing Gunblade? By the time you have it, the damage is only nerfed by like 40 points, which is not an excuse to ignore it when it has tons of other things backing it up and you get the lost damage back. Not that I advocate rushing gunblade under normal circumstances, but the scaling on it literally cannot be reduced enough to be a significant nerf early because the components already do 175 damage at level 1, and Riot doesn't want to risk looking like a bunch of monkeys by reducing it past that.

MattiasNeeson5 votes

nah wits end is a good item already :)

GrReaper963 votes

How about making it drain health like item 3504 instead of just dealing on-hit damage?

no to toxic3 votes

It doesnt need buff since it does what its supposed to being a early game on-hit item wich steals mr while giving you mr. It`s not like many champions can use it effectivly with the only ones coming to mind being Kayle KogMaw Teemo.

Aquafuge1 votes

I use it on bard quite a bit for both MR and MR shred making my abilities and meeps hit that much harder

no to toxic1 votes

Atleast it makes sense. Fuk all those Bard wich go Crit without even building Runaans.

Aquafuge1 votes

I don't really understand why anyone would go crit on bard, he really doesn't need it, just needs CDR and AS

MunchCrunchLunch2 votes

its been suggested many times. and it does make sense.

AirKingNeo2 votes

The item is in a fine state right now. If anything for a buff give it 5% more attack speed or 5 more MR.

1M Gold Udyr XD2 votes

This will help Udyr quite a bit as well. If only there was CDR on this item.

SanKakU1 votes

It already lets you turn around games that you would have otherwise lost against fed AP mid lane champs...how much stronger does it need to be?

CasterGilgamesh1 votes

wut since when who even builds its

SanKakU3 votes

Practically anyone. It's not optimal on MANY champions but it's viable on all of them. It's great on Warwick, Braum, Bard, and anyone that benefits from having more attack speed and has some form of magic damage. With all the magic damage keystones, you can even get it on champions that otherwise wouldn't have any way to deal magic damage and it performs rather well. I find it works best with Grasp of the Undying personally but it's fine with Thunderlord's Decree. I might not get it with Deathfire, though.

It's a tanking item and most people just don't want to tank.

badooga2 votes

I've had tons of fun building it on TahmKench top as an offensive item when the enemy is stacking MR against me. Also can make it work on Aatrox as an AS item versus AP tops like Ryze Mordekaiser Rumble Vladimir.

CasterGilgamesh1 votes

anyone think it could be a decent item on an On hit TwistedFate build? item 3006 item 3091 item 3115 item 3153 item 3124 and maybe item 3085

Annies1stBlood4U1 votes

Wit'ts end doesn't need to scale. The 40 on hit is for if you rush it, so it's useful. The real power of Wit'ts end is the MR shred. This means increased damage for you, and your team mates as you wail on things. Using Bork, Nashors, Blood Razor, ect... that shred is buffing all of them. Congrats. As the game progresses, Wit's stays very relevant.

agbudar1 votes

bloodrazors and bork onhit effect is physical damage mate. if you want to buff those 2 items you get a black cleaver.

i guess a Kayle could do something like item 3006 item 3091 item 3153 item 3085 item 3124 item 3071

The Deckowner2 votes

bork and bloodrazor both do %max hp physical onhit damage, mr shred has 0 impact to them.

rG Thundrag1 votes

If anything Just change the flat 5 MR steal to 0.5xLVL at lvl 10 it equalizes and at lvl 18 it steals up to a maximum of 45

MorgManBasher1 votes

I'm all for wits end buffs, especially since lethality just got buffed

Mostro Gallo1 votes

The item is fine

6Sfool1 votes

I think it needs a rework. It's the item you get to turn your physical champ into a magic one, but it falls flat on that. Maybe if it converted half your autos into magic it would work as it should.

Maligaro Spike1 votes

no thanks i don't want all adcs critting for split damage

Pierce The Veal1 votes

What if, and this is crazy, There was an upgrade to it that built out of a completed Cull, that gave a miniscule amount of AD (or just converted that damage to on hit magic damage) and also healed for as much magic damage as it dealt on hit. Damage based on after resistances of course (which was the problem with feral flare back in the day, it healed the same regardless of how tanky the foe).

Elwe The Jungler1 votes

WE is way too strong If you rush it on early levels and tottaly outscaled by any other attack Speed item that ad Champions use. It's good only If the enemy team has stupid amounts of magic damage.

theArtifacts1 votes

would make more sense thematically if wits end had increasing on hit magic damage based on your AP. (5% ?)

Rozair1 votes

that would break certain champions Teemo Kayle . if it dealt damage equal to a % of max health say 4% then another 5% of the enemies magic resist and stacks up to 30.

theArtifacts1 votes

{quoted}

%max HP damage on it would make it less niche. It wouldn't break Teemo and Kayle to have it scale with AP since they're trading a slot that could go to nashors/runaans.
