It's so funny how people complain about champs like Shaco but yet we have Lee Sin who has the most retarded mobility and toxic kit in the game. Like legitimately the most fucked kit in this game.

He's also the champ that no matter how you decide to build him, it just works.

Uhm. If I'm not mistaken if you burn your eyes they actually "melt" due to the high concentration of liquid they are made off...so I believe is more like gouged than a burn.

Yep. While I'm happy for AP Shaco being actually good it shouldn't have come at an expense of AD Shaco being unviable :I

Would he be that overpowered if it was simple 20-45% damage boost instead of mini-crit? Just so that AD Shaco doesn't have to actively try to play around his own goddamn ability in order to do any damage. No other champion has that kind of liability in their kit.

It was a simple 20% damage boost. IDK if you realized it but they've removed his incredible Q critical strike as a means of gating his Backstab. In other words, what used to be a simple 20% damage boost is now a 'crit' for 120%+ damage every ~3 seconds'. (Explain to me the difference between doing 20% more damage and 'criting' for 120% damage? Other than the fact that making it a 'crit' nerfed Shaco...)

It's such BS.

You said it yourself. The difference is that they nerfed him. Obviously I have to go into details here:

Old Shaco: 20% damage boost means that a non-crit attack deals 120% damage while a crit attack deals 240% damage, or 300% with IE. New Shacp: 120% crit means that a non crit attack deals 120% while a crit attack deals the same, and when they fix it it is going to be 200% or 250% with IE.

And please, tell me more about how Shaco's old 300% damage crit which requires him to also blow his only escape is "incredible" and requires gating while Caitlyn with 2 items crits for more than 350% from half a screen away.

Backstab will still provide no damage bonus at all to crit attacks but at least you won't lose damage. Not directly lose damage at least. Critting on your first attack from behind will put backstab on cooldown without doing any extra damage so some damage is still lost.

That still sucks, but at least the ability won't hurt him that much.

And honestly, would a 20-45% damage boost on regular crit would be too much? Especially when you consider certain marks(wo)men critting for far more with a safe AA range to boot.

It used to be a 220%-270% crit amplified 20%. Was shaco too good late game as a result? No and making boxes have more than 150hp doesn't make up for completely gutting out shaco's upfront damage as AD. It's an ok rework if they wanted to make him an AP assassin exclusively but that's a pretty dick move to the people who are already playing him.

Yeah. All those people saying "he would just appear behind you and instagib you" don't realize how insanely fed he had to be to do so. For comparison, Caitlyn with only IE and Hurricane crits for 375% from insane range while not having to position herself behind you.

And still, the way Rito said they wanted to "tone down his early abuse but still leave him with options lategame" then proceed to remove his passive in said lategame really pisses me off.

If you stand idle while his box preps to enter stealth or if you walk right into a box that you can see being placed, you deserved to die to that gank man. It possibly the most avoidable CC in the entire game.

edit; P.S, i play blitz AP bot, i only spend the initial 350g on coin for support items. My combo instagibs the adc 90% of the time.

Nah, CDR 40% double hook+knockup makes vayne rage just as much. Nothing irritates an ADC more than being denied the chance to do any damage. Esp when their sup is actually very passive. 9/10 will quit lol, which is the whole goal as i mained ADC for over a year, it's the easiest role but "most important". So after another ~5 years of maining JG/Sup and putting up with toxic adc's every match, you bet i sup now just to piss off ADC's. It's like the ultimate balancing act. ADC's get cocky and say they control the game, riot nerfs the hell out of them and good supports start actually maining sup again.
