Jax buffs that would in my humble opinion, make him more viable as a top lane pick (or even mid)

Slightly increase the cooldown of his W , but give it AOE magic damage in a large radius and a slow that lasts 2 seconds and slows by 40%.

Give him more HP and have it scale slightly better. Jax has less base HP and Armor than most top lane picks, such as Darius, Fiora, and every tank you can think of.

Increase the mana cost of his E, but increase the amount of time the enemy is stunned to 1.5 seconds.

Have his Ultimate scale better with his AP to give him better magic resist (only 20% is kind of low and defeats the purpose of it really being there). Raise it to at least 30% since his armor is increased by a flat amount + 50% of his AD.

Have his Q also apply magic damage on hit, it's kind of his niche so why not?

I feel like this would give Jax a better time as a top lane pick as he has to play extremely safe and can't trade/duel effectively unless the enemy top laner isn't playing very well. If these buffs seem unreasonable, please tell me why, I want to discuss this extensively :)

Alright if you guys want to downvote can you at least tell me why?

Because Jax already seems fairly balanced and no-one wants to play vs. Season 3 Jax again.

Didn't know it was that bad, I only started playing this game literally at the end of Season 4 lol

Season 3 Jax was almost as brutal as S2 Jax.. Which was a pale shadow of the nightmare that was original Jax.

Thankfully, he's a lot healthier than he used to be. (No more Jax 1v5 pentas at lvl 6)

Although pentas at level 18 are still up for grabs.

Then you don't know what it's like. When Jax is strong, he's a pick or ban. Before his last nerf, no one ever played Irelia, because he was literally a better Irelia. Between the fact that you can build Sheen and double tap a minion, jump on an enemy, proc ult + Sheen and then reset auto with W, his short, burst fights are great, and between his passive and dependence on Bork, his long drawn out fights are great.

His versatility in lane is insane. Most people use his E mostly as a stun, when they should be using it for the dodge. If you activate E and jump in, you're not utilizing Jax completely.

Basically, he's totally fine. The ONLY reason I don't consider him a little too strong is that he is terribly weak when played at a regular level, and with any finesse, wrecks most laning opponents. His early game is like Udyr's ganks: Considered the worst, actually some of the best.

why don't we just give him 100% true damage on his ult proc

You know, these ideas really aren't that bad. None of his numbers are increased and the cooldowns of his most important moves are increased. No need to be an ass.

The biggest reason his abilities are all cheap low CDs without impactful effects is the same reason Vayne's are. They both scale with items better than anyone else in the game. If every champion was given 20 items, Jax and Vayne would win. His kit works so well with itself.

If they give him his health back jax will hit 51-53 winrate again all those buffs sound a bit childish to me. But I won't downvote you tho
