Well first of all, you should be able to dodge a skillshot that's that slow and blocked by minions. Second of all, for every tick of damage she takes, the duration the Spirit will stay out will decrease by one second. Third, you can literally just back off and break the tether and prevent her from mirroring damage. At the distance you're at from creating said distance between you and her, the slow + curse really shouldn't be a problem. The tentacles are ridiculously easy to dodge and the slow isn't that bad either, and if you really hate it, QSS is a thing. Fourth, you do have teammates, at least one of which who is guaranteed to be ranged (your ADC) that can just harass her if she tries to do funny shit.

"If you get hit by it" And it will still do damage even if you start to walk away, and again if shes ahead she will do a lot of damage and she can kill it very quickly, even more so with teammates. And Riot will probably just change qss where it will just cleanse the slow because they hate qss for some reason. And if you have teammates shes bound to have teammates around as well, unless she thinks she can 1 v 5, which is soo annoying being with THAT illaoi.

Lets be real, you wont dodge every skill shot, especially when the Illaoi w then e, which is almost a guaranteed e.

Depending on the champ you have, fighting her isn't always an option cause she can flash+ult/switch targets to you/or just ult the clone and you get the slow, if she is using SRS then she probably proc'd it on your clone and is now chasing you.

Sometimes she destroys the clone faster than you can get out of range or does more than enough damage to it to warrant a B as soon as possible. (no one is going to waste an item slot for a 2 sec slow)

We all know juggs can be countered by range. If your ranged, the Illaoi probably isn't going to chase you unless she knows its a kill otherwise she risks being kited to death. (unless its Gnar, fuck that champion!). As an Illaoi main, who hasn't been playing recently, I am tired of seeing people have to constantly explain what not to do against something so obvious. She literally screams it at people, MOVE, FIGHT, DON'T FUCKING DROWN!!
