This guy got it to work, try to study what he did and see what you can do to improve on it. I wish you luck in getting bard jungle to work, its defiantly gonna be hard for you. He was sorta made for support, but I took gnar ADC, so who am I to judge? xD

SanKakU2 votesYou make some good points with your post. A few things to keep in mind though: Riot already mentioned that Bard is a legit jungler, so you're not posting anything they wouldn't expect. Braum is a great jungler and he is played mainly as support. Riot seems to be trying to ween the community off of over-dependence on babysitting the Marksman/Mage. So promoting Bard as a support that roams and then comes back every once in a while is their way of coercing the community into reshaping the meta.
I actually like this although it's going to be awkward to see so many feeding bot champs. People will feed at bottom regardless of who their lane partner is. Might as well get a champ that is a great roamer so you aren't tied down to a losing lane. Anyway, I really hope players will learn more about each champion and especially learn more about the jungle, in particular about how much Hunter's Machete got buffed recently, to the point that just about any champion can jungle now, even if it sometimes is a bit slow.

Nyaruko Chan2 votesHaving actually tried Bard as a jungler in the PBE I can safely say he is not a viable pick. You do nearly no damage. Bard has possibly the worst scaling I have ever seen on a champion. If you dont believe me when he comes out just try to go full ap with him. Its actually a joke. His Q must scale off of like 0.25 of his ap or something. Also hes unbearably squishy and as I just said he has no damage so no real kill pressure either.
He can barely even survive the first camp with a two man leash. Meaning you will have to back after two camps at most. You will honestly just end up spending most of your time wandering around collecting chimes but since his ap scaling is so bad even with a ton of ap you still need over 100 chimes for your empowered AA's to even do damage. His W is nice for sustain but it doesnt help much consider how long his clear times are.
You pretty much are forced into going Rod of Ages to even have a hope of clearing camps and living and since Bard already takes forever to properly start scaling you end up even more crippled until like 30 minutes into the game. His ult is good for ganking but its an extremely slow aoe skill shot thats hard to land since most enemies can just lol walk out of it before it lands plus it can hit your teammate if they decide to be stupid.
Its just not worth trying. Do to all of the above things all of the current meta top junglers will laugh their way into your jungle and kill you with one auto attack due to how low you will be in health and then gank mid and snowball their mid lane. It simply does not work.

Meaning mid lane is free to do whatever they want till you hit 6. R - His only good reliable ganking tool. Meaning he wants to farm the jungle to get 6 asap. But his damage is weak along with only having one damage ability. It'd take him a long time to reach this, even with a few charms.

Kyle Katarn1 votesI say he's more of a support ffor your jungler. You can easily set ganks for your laners and make a 100% flash or kill. You can help your jungler steal camps and let you have enemy blue buff. Just make sure your adc is someone like Ezreal, Tristana, Corki, Lucian, or Graves because those guys can just turn bot lane in to a passive farm lane until you and thw jungler come in for an unexpected gank from both ways. Your said Ezreal will have more levels on their said adc meaning the ganks will be more successful.
