The Class of Champions that are currently strong because of this patch
Before this patch was released I predicted utility mages will become a strong force thanks to the utility tree changes so utility mages can go 9 / 0 / 21 and have very good success.
With testing my theory out I have to say this is indeed correct, utility mages did become a lot stronger this patch. Top candidates would be Karma top, Zilean can flex well mid or top, Lulu same she flexes mid or top, Orianna mid and I would say this is a top 4 candidates. Lissandra of course is under utility mage status so you can go 21 utility on her, Anivia can function well with 21 offense or 21 utility since she has both high utility and high damage. I am sure there are other champions I am both forgetting and/or can rise up because of the utility tree changes which are buffs for deep in the tree and small nerfs early in the tree.
This community, worldwide, is very slow in adapting and discovering new things. The worst part is is that every other region basically waits for Korea to do something first and then that becomes the norm, in order to beat Korea we got to beat them to the punch and not wait and follow in their footsteps.
On a side note, Ryze got a little bit over buffed this patch so expect Ryze to get toned down in the near future. I do agree his changes made him slightly too weak, but the follow up changes made him too strong, so a good balance in the upcoming patches for Ryze will place him in a good spot.
