Riot's matchmaking at its finest... (Ranked)

I am usually getting matched only with d5 players (sometimes plat1 and d4 too) in games at 1950 mmr. But sometimes im matched into low plat games... Now this happened : gold 3 gold 2 and a bunch of low plat players in a 1650 mmr game... like wtf.

The only premades in the whole game were Zac and Tristana (gold 3 + plat 5). Our annie (gold 2) was solo, like the rest 8 players. Its also important to notice that everyone had around 600 ranked games played, so everyone's mmr is matching his division. This means the gold 2 annie actually has a gold 2 mmr. Its not the case where some1 smurfs, has 30 wins 5 defeats, is at gold 3 and has platinum 3 mmr...

Edit : i mean... annie asked me to duo after that game, but i am diamond and she is gold. according to riot we cannot duo bcs we of our huge elo difference, but at the same time, it places us in the same game. makes sense right ? :)[zombie-brand-facepalm]
