I don't understand why everyone hates "gold funneling" all of a sudden

It's literally been a thing ever since this game came out. Whoever kills the minions gets the gold, and whoever kills jungle camps gets the gold from that. And that's the way it should work. Why should a jungler be treated any different than a laner? They're a part of the team, and if they take cs they should get the same amount of gold as anyone else on the team.

Its not just the players who dislike the strategy given Riot themselves put in measures at one point to discourage gold funneling. Also, when champions are really broken, dont they eventually get nerfed? Why shouldn't a strategy be as well if its proven to be much too affective.
