So... Those accidental Quinn changes that got reverted...

If, hypothetically, you were able to switch between Quinn and Valor at will I would have no issue BUT:

  1. Skystrike would still need to be there. Even if you can switch between forms every 3 seconds, keep Skystrike and put it on an independant cooldown. When it comes off cooldown, the next time you use Tag Team instead of Tagging back out your R would become Skystrike.
  2. The movement speed it provides would have to be toned down so that it only grants, as an example, only ~50 movement speed (just enough to outrun an immobile champion) or perhaps ~150 that diminishes to ~50 over 3-5 seconds.
  3. Just take the blind off Quinn's Q in both forms! The only thing it does is add unnecessary utility to her kit which is counterbalanced by not having as much damage in her kit. I'd much rather see a higher Base Damage/AD Ratio on her E than have a blind needlessly tacked onto her Q. Perhaps instead of having a blind on her Q, it could have a conditional effect i.e. If the target is marked with harrier it will consume the mark and reduce Q's cooldown by X number of seconds.

The silence on her q gives her a good niche as a duelist and the aoe on it gives her a niche as a split pusher. The problem is that her teamfight is kinda meh, I said a long time ago I think they should just give quinns w 10 range per skill level so at level 18 she has 575 range to make her late game teamfight better since late game she basically doesnt have an ult.

He W already gives her one of the best AS steroids in the game at max rank. I've played a LOT of Quinn ever since her release, and honestly the most frustrating thing about her team fighting is that her E is so easily interrupt-able considering it is the most reliable way to mark someone with Harrier. As for using her Q blind in trades - if her E had a higher AD Ratio/Base Damage/Both (and if Riot increases her AA range to 550 like it is on the PBE) you wouldn't need it anyway.

The Blind on Valor allows you to actually engage. Without it, 99.9% of the time you'd just feed. It's really important.

You really over value the strength of the blind. The only time it really makes a difference is if you're about to get jumped on by a high-burst AD champion who primarily relies on Auto-Attacks to deal damage, otherwise it's usually blocked by ability-based tanks (Mundo, Gragas, Maokai, etc) or minions - blinds don't even stop the bonus damage from Nasus' Siphoning Strike.

In lane, double-proccing Harrier (Mark ---> AA ---> E ---> AA) gives you enough damage to bully in the early levels without the need to blind. This, again, supports my idea of trading the conditional utility from the blind on Blinding Assault, for guaranteed (read: targeted rather than skill shot) damage on Vault.

The Blind is a part of who Quinn is. It's called "Blinding Assault". The Blind makes her vastly more survivable. She is honestly fine as it is, and if they were to change her at all, I would ask for a fully fledged form changer, to go top with.

I'll put it this way - it seems Riot wants to give Valor more up time, and this will come at a cost to power in other areas of her kit. To me, personally, Quinn's ability to assassinate targets as Valor is more iconic than the blind on her Q. As such, my argument is that Riot should take damage away from other areas of her kit and keep Valor powerful.

Valor is quite powerful. Honestly, the one way to make him stronger would be to give him abilites seperate from Quinns. And yes, you're right about the first thing, however, it is still a part of who she is. Definitely NOT her whole being. XD
