Is CC creeping due to mobility now?

What i mean, is that are because almost all hard CC is skillshot based at this point, is the effective power of that CC increase, but in term further increasing the gap between mobile champions and immobile champions?

Champions with large speed boosts and dashes have a much easier time dodging these high threat CCs, but a champion without the mobility isn't any less affected by the CC. In fact a champion with higher mobility has even more safety when hit by CC than a champion without it.

I don't think the power of hard CC is increasing in recent designs. Actually, I think that CC is generally reducing in duration over time; 3 second CCs are relics of the past. The new standard in CC is a 1 second long knockup.

Clearly the shift to making hard CC almost universally skillshot-based increases the power and relevance of mobility.

but a 1 second knock up is a full second of CC which has no counter measure. A stun, even if 2 seconds, is factored into the power of the champion's kit, which can then be reduced by 35% reducing the effectiveness of that part of the champion's kit. So if you're balanced around having a 2 second stun, then someone reduces that to 1.3 seconds (after 35% reduction), then it's weaker than a one second stun, which is being balanced in the champion's power as a 1 second CC.

It's like riot add tenacity into the game, then tries their hardest to make it irrelevant.

Tenacity will affect knockups soon(tm). I believe it was Morello who tweeted about it.

I wouldn't overrate tenacity, though. The targets you actually want to CC rarely have it.

I also wouldn't claim that stuns are somehow balanced assuming tenacity doesn't exist.
