I saw it pop on an enemy 
right after Gangplank used his cooldowns on him, and without doing any other damage to him the shield just disappeared completely in about 1 second. He had a good chunk of health items, too, so it wasn't like it was just too small a shield to be noticeable
Isn't it supposed to last for eight?

I've noticed it happen in a couple practice games (trying new builds for Poppy after the Sunfire Cape nerfs).
Big Lincoln2 votesYeah, I swear this shield is disappearing faster than it should, even when I'm not taking a lot damage it vanishes before it feels like I can make the most of it
if this was the tradeoff for the AD bonus I'd rather go back to the way it was before
Meep Man1 votesThe shield pre-mitigates damage if I recall, so any damage that was dealt to proc the shield is also absorbed by the shield. So GP could have dealt so much damage that it disappeared that quickly. Will have to check I guess.
