Genuinely curious. It's no question that the majority of the community hates the Viktor changes - has any Rioter mentioned why they're proposing these changes? As far as I know, rickless hasn't commented on the Boards, has he said anything about these changes on Twitter or something?

He tweeted out some potential tweaks to the death ray that are being worked on. Significantly faster missile speed (up to 1200 from 780), delay reduced to 1 second, heavier scaling on the aftershock base damage (though lower early), and an increased ratio on the aftershock as well. While maybe not nearly as clean as live, it sounds like a huge improvement from what the currently working on. Still nothing on that horrendous 2-second tick rate on the ult though, but I can't try it myself yet, so maybe it's not that terrible.
