i preffer that he stays untouched and inviable at high elo but still playable than he geting gutted (and losing his burst potential) and become inviable and unplayable at all elos

Veigar does not fit in to the current meta due to lack of mobility. He is not "inviable" per se, he just doesn't get played due to that fact.

Riot will do what they want. They took away DFG and then nerfed Veigar. They call it a compensating nerf but apparently no one is stupid enough to buy it . However Riot gets paid regardless so, I apologize, but let us all weep for Veigar ahead of time.
