My only Issue with Sol Is. . .

That his Damage zone is Middle-range

Not Close like every Melee cjampion

Not Too Ranged like mages/marksmen

Its an akward Mid-Range,that means all melees will get in your face and kill you as you cant detonate Q at point blank

Then, all ranged champs will stand just inches from your stars and poke you with their ranged abilities

Just my 3 cents

i think the biggest pain is the range of the circle and his auto attacks, there is no optimal range active and passive W are both different ranges than the auto attacks so you are forced to spam S to stop you in the right spots but then your AA's are slowed way down, or worse it moves you back out of range.

also the hit box of the stars is awful and very often misses what it looks like it should be hitting.

his E is cool but it needs to be something you can use as an actual escape. your forced in to fights to do any damage, but then are heavily punished for it because you have no means of escape or defense when some one jumps on you.

My issue with sol rune was that it was rare enough to make you think it was good but it was actually so bad outside rune words

Well, you only have 1 game played on him, but he isn't meant to be powerful at every range. To be fair, he is only weak to very up close champions since his w increases the range of his passive and its damage.

Thats kinda the whole point of Sol. He has a unique kit and playstyle that has clear strengths and counters.

Hes like Io from dota 2, without a melee option and more offensive in general.

Originally I thought "wow this champ is underwhelming" then over a few days I started seeing good aurelions and made me debate asking for nerfs or not.

Here's the thing, once an assassin gets in they have to fear getting half their health bar removed by his ult, then stunned by Q in a chase, then finished by his passive+w. Good aurelion sols are starting to see the value in the ult, and it's pretty damn strong if used right. granted. I don't have an issue with him over other mages who are arguable worse, but I'd say he's pretty good actually after you get used to him.

I don't know whether it is a bug or not, but when I played Sol you cannot detonate Q immediately... It's like a .5 secs delay until the start of detonating range.

Sometimes, I also notice the Q went right thru the champion without even hit them.... Gonna have to check that again.

AND his "Zone" his not a big threat. Its not like if I get in it Im freaking out. No I get in it and I take a quick look at minion wave count and if I have the same or more minions I charge right at him (even as a mage) because I will win the auto attack trade.

If I have less minions I still can charge at him if I have things off CD as a mage and will win the trade.

If Im melee you go stand on him and win.

Now they are nerfing him to the ground.
