To me every ADC is almost the same or more or less similar.
The only thing that captivates me to play league is mastery and watching myself grow my proficiency with a certain champion.
But when I smurf, yeah I switch champions every single game and try champs I've never touched before.
I like both ideals and as for grinding OP champions for high elo making someone want to uninstall.. I can see that, but then again you're someone who's against the idea of spamming a single champion anyways.
To me it's like any other sport. You have casual players, high school competitive teams, college teams, NBA super stars.
They're all playing ball in their own way, and I believe they're all also having fun in their own respectful perspectives. There's nothing wrong with how they approach the game, if it ever comes to the point where you absolutely despise the game and have 0 will to even continue, but are for the sake of saying you made it / you didn't quit.. I think that's the point where you're standing in questionable territory.
Like I really want to make Masters, but if I don't even enjoy the game, and I'm wasting hours every day.. losing because of my lack of will to win. You can definitely bet that the weight of the reward vs what you're sacrificing is definitely not worth it. It really sucks that you have to swallow your pride at this point, but it's literally affecting your life / productivity.. at that point, it's not sane to even second guess.
TL:DR People who like playing variety / like mastering certain champions are both normal. People who feel sick of the game and want to quit, should weigh what they're sacrificing vs what they're trying to achieve in the game ( Mental health, time, real life responsibilities. )
