So I just played a game of top lane Nautilus in ranked. I was up against a Yasuo so I wasn't too worried. We get into lane and when he uses his Q his mastery emote pops up. He uses his Q again and his mastery emote pops up again. Every single time he uses his Q he spams his mastery emote (obviously he bound his mastery emote to Q on his keyboard.)

Laning phase continues and we kill each other (but he gets the first blood.) He comes back to lane and not only does he use his mastery emote whenever he Qs but he also uses it every couple auto attacks as well. Hundreds and hundreds of mastery emote spams. After about 5 minutes I got so pissed off that I wanted to make an example of him.

I killed him 3 times in the next 5 minutes and took his tower. After that he flamed his team, rage quit and never came back. I felt bad for the enemy team having a rage quit but it sure made me smile to know that I had induced a rage quit in such an annoying and toxic player.

Edit: For those of you asking how to bind your mastery to QWER I believe the only way you can do it is via a keyboard macro. I would not recommend doing this though because some people cheat using macros (i.e. to get perfect Riven or Kat combos) and Riot's detection system may think you are using the macro to get a gameplay advantage.

Unfortunately, the mastery emote takes like 2-3 seconds to complete, and it has a 2-3 second downtime before it can be used again, but that is still quite a lot of emote-ing.

I enjoy knocking cocky players down a peg, because it's fun to humble them and watch them rage as you do so.

Back when the reworked Yorick was first released, I wanted to give him a shot. So I queue up, get Top, and pick him. When the game starts, I find myself going up against a level 7 Fiora, who (like your Yasuo opponent) spammed his/her mastery at every available opportunity. I had no idea what I was doing with the new Yorick, yet I Completely Destroyed this player. This person openly called me quite a variety of unpleasant names during the course of that game as things went from bad to worse for them. Perhaps it was just beginners luck with the new Yorick , but I couldn't stop myself from enjoying it.

Probably because Yorick's play rate was so damn low that your Fiora opponent legitimately had no clue what you do or how to counter you, and old Yorick kinda shat all over glass cannon melees.

Yes. I don't know why people defend it. It's not a cute, fun thing. It's a way to be rude and unsportsmanlike. BMing and acting like a prat is toxic whether you're winning or not. The fact that the guy was a flamer and a rager just kinda shows what kind of people find this kinda "fun" to be acceptable. The only... ONLY time a mastery flash isn't disrespectful as hell is if you popped mastery after doing something REALLY stupid like tower diving and dying... because in that case the person you're mocking is yourself.

Flashing it right after you make a cool play, like 1v2ing a jungle gank or making a slick escape with your life, seems like a worthy way to show off (this is something more than just flashing it after 1v1 killing someone, of course).

But yeah, spamming it is just stupid and annoying.

Nah... that's bragging. It's still a disrespect. Like flipping the bird against your opponent. If you pulled a slick enough play, I assure you the enemy will be far more likely to give props if you don't BM mastery flash him in the face as you leave. It comes off as arrogant and douchey.

You win a REALLY close trade with a flashy play? Good for you. If you want to give the enemy props... toss them a compliment in all chat if you really want to. Mastery flashing impresses no one but the idiot doing it. 90% of the time it's a thing that people do in an intentional attempt to tilt people. If that isn't toxic, what is?

I still think it can be okay. Sometimes. I mean, flexing can actually be fine sometimes.

As long as you're not overdoing it and flashing it with every play you make. I've seen some people flash masteries at the right time and legitimately thought, yeah that guy's pretty good!

Though the absolute best time to flash it is definitely when you tower dive and die.

When I pull off a really difficult kill in a bad situation... come back with no health and turn around a fight to get a kill using every trick I have, what I like to do is type "Get rekt loser!" in /all chat.

What's that? That's rude and toxic? Oh... well I guess it's nice that we made that statement into a nice little emote so that I can flash that instead and pretend I meant something else, isn't it?

I honestly don't know. All I know is that every time he Qed his mastery would flash. I believe you can do it with keyboard or mouse macros but you can't do it in client.

That would be use of a macro. If you reported him that counts as scripting and he can be banned for it because several emotes actually can be used as animation canceling (i'm not sure if mastery actually is one of them). If he were playing riven for instance it might automatically animation cancel.

Not butt hurt, just annoyed. If I was butt hurt I would have gone on tilt and lost lane to him. Since I was annoyed it focused me and I crushed him.

Apparently you don't know the definition of butt hurt. If a fly keeps bugging you and you get pissed off and smash the fly does that mean the fly made you butt hurt? No, it just pissed you off. Butt hurt is whining because someone beat you at something and you can't do anything about it. That's why they call it butt hurt, because it implies that you got your ass kicked. The Yasuo was the one who was butt hurt, not me.

" [-] " is not a system of measurement I recognize. Going through google, I didn't find a system using that combination of symbols either. "Dash" had 2 results:

  • 1/8 teaspoon Not a relevant unit of measure for your subject
  • 1/16 inch diameter for the inside of a hose or the outside of a tube While relevant, you are now talking technical engineering measurements that the average person can't reasonably be expected to know, and the measurement was presented incorrectly. I also doubt the average person would know what the average dash measurement for the human penis would even be.

"Cruelest Handicap" is not an expression that has been used in my circles. A google searching find it's use in quoting a specific anime: Hellsing Ultimate, Ep 3.

Reading a transcript of that scene, it has many more sexual allusions then your post to act as context.

EDIT: YOu used a different term in your original post. "Nature's Handicap" came up with multiple varied meanings, non of which involved sexual organs [directly] in the first 5 pages. Results did include protein absorption:

You offer no context to suggest your intended meaning. No context for your joke is provided in the sentence that contains it. But your second sentence's use of "mental fucks" could suggest you mean "mentally unstable," which would be a legitimate handicap.

Well according to the upvote ratio i didn't screw up the delivery, and people understood exactly what i was inferring. Minus one or two, but what're you gonna do. I've heard that expression and similar outside of just the internet, although hellsing abridged is fucking awesome. And despite the fact that i didn't allude as sexually in my post as your TFS provided example i touched on his inferiority enough that most others understood as a result. I get that you want to be the tumblr social justice warrior trying to give me your soul on why i shouldn't say that yasuo obviously has some sad handicaps in his life to compensate for, but you're going a little out of hand, and also i don't care. In addition handicap literally means anything that can inhibit an individual from functioning properly. Thus there are literally millions of uses of the word "handicap" that are correct, if you have too much acne that can a be a social handicap. Being a spaz is also a handicap. Very many things easily fall under the category of handicap. Damn near everyone has some sort of handicap in their lives to boot. Damn though, you put a lot of effort into trying to, i can't tell, debunk a sexual allusion about a tiny wang yasuo mastery spammer? For that i salute you, but you cannot properly analyze and debunk slang or vulgarity, it simply works in its own context. To be fair "butt hurt" doesn't always imply losing at anything or a literal or metaphorical ass kicking. You can just be butt hurt because McDonald's forgot to salt your fries.
