I personally am getting tired of the faker hype,aside from that I don't really care.

Would be kinda neat to have 10 skins for the same team though.

It's not that it's easy,it's mostly just not very impressive.

I mean winning a competitive game controlling 2 heroes is impressive,generally outfarming and somewhat outperforming your lane opponent isn't,even if it takes a lot of practice/talent,it's mostly doing very well on a lot of small things,it's hard to do,but it's not very awe inspiring.

Nah,I think athletes in general are overhyped,I mean even the example I gave,as neat as it may be,was only one game.

Faker inspires me to do the best that I can, and I treat every game as a learning experience =]

Man lol isn't a game of learning,lol is a game of "do the exact same thing you did last game again and again,and again",I mean not that it's bad,it's tied to the game being rather casual and is fine,but to me worlds kinda feels like world championship in checkers,very serious people playing in a very shallow environment(yeah I realize I'm basically asking for downvotes with this statement).

I won't downvote you, you're entitled to an opinion :). Learning what to do and what not to do comes from learning. Better champion mechanics and better understanding is what the game, and every other sport is all about. In my opinion you've just dumbed it down a little bit too much. If you really wanted you could describe every sport the same way and remove any depth.

I have seen a lot of players beat him in the midlane. And I am not saying he isn't amazing, but whatever set him apart from the other top midlaners is starting to disappear.

The meta has shifted and mid is not the focus anymore. It's easy to discount faker as a mid-laner but take all these factors into account. He dominated during the season 3 midlane meta. Watch the LCK and tell me he has fallen off. I dare you.

With that said. The new meta is top heavy with the ADC having to play either a pick support or tank buster role. The mid lane has become this whatever lane. Carry if you want but support will do passive lane. If you're saying he is not relevant because he isn't shining like Febiven or incarnation it's really simple. Those teams NEED the mid to carry. Balls is a weak top laner down there with Dyrus. Huni didn't come into his own until the semi finals and end of group stages. Sneaky and Rekkles aren't hard carries. That leaves mid with the brunt of the responsibility for play making.

Faker does not have to carry. Marin and Bang more than make up for the Faker focus that other teams seem to put on him. Faker cannot carry as hard in this meta as he is still the person people focus down. Why is that? He still remains relevant. You let faker live he will blow you away. At least one person will die to faker in a teamfight. Not only that despite being that way he is always still relevant. You watch other mid-laners struggle with consistency. Name a game where you thought faker was the problem. It's hard isn't it? Look at GodV or Pawn. Or any other mid-laner. Bright spots occasionally but they fell hard as their teams did. Faker will always be a bright spot on SKT no matter how they play.

While he doesn't shine as bright, that isn't because Faker is no longer good. The meta shift and his team is shining just as bright. SKT have built an amazing team. I think anyone would still want Faker on their team. I hope the meta shifts back to a mid lane focus XD. I want to see him show off his mechanical skills again.

No worries, I would say he is probably still the best midlaner. I have just never been a huge fan of the korean and chinese teams. The first match I ever saw was xPeke getting the famous back door win and since then I have always liked Fnatic. Was looking forward to an SKT v Fnatic final but sadly that won't happen.

OG honestly suprised me, and I would assume a lot of others) by how far they got in the tournament, I always thought they were good, but being a younger team I thought they would fall earlier than later, That said, im looking forward to next season, they have a lot of potential for the 2016 season

The casters have done exceptionally well to point out the Faker is not carrying SKT but it is rather their toplaner Marin. Every PTL as well as every series, the player of the series has been NOT Faker. What they do recognize is that SKT has a really strong midlaner who yet hasn't had to carry really because his team has been doing just that.

There really was no hype from casters and analysts this time around (in contrast to S3 which was completely justified back then).

Mostly because I dislike how their fanbase is composed by fanatics, plus I got the impression (that could be wrong, I don't follow LCS teams a lot) that they lack the most basic humility and feel like they are some sort of godly entity between mere mortals.

Edit: Funny how highlighting that I might be wrong and so showing some humility towards the argument makes me collect such a ton of downvotes. I get ppl are so salty they don't even read.

I heard here and then in some threads ppl posting about how they did talk bad of some other players. Can't say they did for real. The fact that their fanbase is horrible for the most part stays anyway.

I feel like the reason people aren't enjoying SKT this worlds is because of the stomps especially since SKT just blowing through the competition. Yea they are a good team probably the best team in the world, props to them, but it making worlds very once sided. No 5 game games where it's super tense til the end. No it's always fun seeing the underdogs fight and pull through. Like I remember last year the c9 vs Samsung Blue (I believe) where all the games played were so fun to watch enjoying the fights each team put up. I personally like SKT But don't want them to win.

Though, it would be awesome for a team (SKT) to go undefeated through Worlds (like the 1972 Dolphins did). That's a huge accomplishment and is very well deserved. It would also bring about the first two-time champions with SKT.

I'd probably rule out Kalista since she has a champion skin, Elise since she already has a victorious skin, and Shen because TPA.

So most likely it'd be Azir, Fiora, Rek'Sai, Tristana, and Tahm Kench.
