Hey, why can't we reroll permanent skin from hextech anymore?

Well I simply rerolled 3 skin shard and the only option was "Unlock Permanently". I didn't click it. I clicked profile, went back to "LOOT" and the skin permanent wasn't in there. It was automatically unlocked...

That's completely intended and it's how it's always been. If you own the champ that the skin is for when you reroll, it gets added to your account automatically. I only have the Battlecast Urgot permanent because I don't have Urgot. I'd prefer being able to roll them again but you can't if you own the champ.

It's also worth to mention, that this happened to me twice. Now I have 2 skins permanently unlocked, that I don't want...

Yeah, but now I have 2 skins for a champion I don't play. And a skin that looks worse than the default.

cant you disenchant them?

i think rerolling is ass anyways. you can reroll 3 legendary skins and get some shit like badger teemo. its entirely random, and incredibly unlikely that you ever get anything youd want out of rerolling.

makes more sense to just sit on the shards and wait that some day a skin drops for a champion you play or at least like, then use the essence from the other shards.

or maybe a champion gets reworked or youre getting into a champion that you havent played before and you still have a skin shard for him.

i got dunkmaster darius this way out of a chest this week, and i already unlocked some other neat skins.

with the shards you always know what you get. im still sitting on 23 of them with a couple legendaries in there. so any time there is a skin for a champion i like or i develop a taste for one of them, ill immediately get it.

I think that legendary/ultimate skins you dont like are worth of selling for essence. And these cheap shards for reroll, unless you like them, in which case you use that essence from legendaries. But that's for another topic.

I got a skin for katarina, it unlocked permanently, but I like default skin much better. So even if I got like 50 essence for that permanent skin, it would be worth for me, since I am never gonna use that ugly skin.

so i have 3 skin permenant i just want to know what will happen if i reroll them, i dont own the champs

so I just did a reroll of 3 skins I didn't want as I got a 2nd bewitching nidalee skin ( how on earth is it possible to get a dupe skin before getting one that I don't have already rito). and It says right on there, reroll 3 skins into 1 PERMANENT skin. so I add my 3 skins in there and hit reroll and I end up getting a sweet skin for anivia. great right? except not, because its not permanent... it just went back into my loot skins that need orange essence to unlock. so I basically just gave riot 3 skins, for 1 when I could have just disenchanted them for OE and been done with it. needless to say I will NEVER be rerolling skins again. I play league every day at least 1 match every time and I unlock a new skin maybe once every 6 months. its pretty ridiculous if you ask me. and don't even get me started on how long it takes to unlock a champion. granted all I have left to unlock now are the highest cost ones but still. back in the old IP days, I could unlock a new champ every week if not more often than that, and now it takes me at least 2 weeks to get one because I will level up my account and when I open my capsule ill get a champ like annie (90 BE) and then maybe another 90BE bonus. (im level 85+) so cool, glad I grinded all week for that level so I could gain 180 BE...
