@Riot Balancing the game

Sorry Rito, I have been patiently waiting, but the time for rants on balance is overdue. The game is honestly in it's worst state ever as far as balance goes. So I am going to offer some suggestions to get the game back on track.

Aatrox Needs a slight buff or rework. Isn't in a good place right now. Ahri Reduce the MS buff she gets from Q. She already has amazing mobility from her R. Annie Passive now requires 5 charges instead of 4 or she can only hold onto the stun for 10 seconds. Take your pick, just do something. Braum Slight nerf to Q damage. Does a little too much damage for a tank support. Cassiopeia Needs rework. Not in a good spot. Chogath Passive needs to be halved. Ult changed to 50% true damage/50% magic damage. Passive WAY too strong right now, never has to base except to buy. 100% true damage ult is always a bad thing. Darius Heal needs major nerf. Survivability too high for that much damage. Diana Reduce strength of 3rd sphere shield. Not "squishy" enough for an assassin. Ekko Complete rework. Should have never been released in this state. Elise Slight nerf to Q damage. Ezreal W gains AD ratio, reduce AP ratio. Ability is pretty much worthless in AD builds. Fiddlesticks E does 25% bonus damage to minions. R range increased to 900. That way he has waveclear and can initiate over the big walls. Fiora Q AD ratio slightly reduced. Probably will need more, but start here. Fizz E CD increased 5 seconds at every rank. This is an ult level ability that can currently be used THREE times in long teamfights. Garen Passive regen cut in half. W active reduced to 25%. R true damage removed. Has too much sustain and true damage ult is always bad. Gnar Q Boomerang CD reworked to max out at 90%. W bonus MS reduced and no longer gets it from transforming. E second bounce distance reduced by 50%. He is way too safe in mini Gnar form. Graves Previous Q nerf reverted. He is a lane bully, let him bully the hyper carries early. Heimerdinger Q damage reduced and turret durability increased. W damage increased. Make him more skill shot based. Irelia Passive reduced to 10/20/30%. Q AD ratio reduced to .9. Too hard to lock down for a hyper carry. Jinx Q rockets can no longer crit. Make her have high risk/high reward by getting in closer. Kalista Complete rework. So broken, rework is only option. KogMaw R CD 2 seconds all ranks. 1 second CD on a long range ult is just stupid. Leblanc Q initial damage reduced and secondary damage increased resulting in same amount of combined damage. Make her risk going in to get damage. That high risk/high reward thing again. Steer her towards being a guerrilla mage. Less burst and more sustained damage since she is safe with mobility. Go in, do some damage, get out, rinse and repeat. LeeSin Q AD ratio reduced. E AD ratio reduced. Does WAAAAY too much damage for that level of utility and tankyness. Lux R CD increased to 100/85/70. Ult CD is too short for that much damage and range. Malphite Q and R AP ratios slightly reduced. Does a little too much damage for being so tanky. Malzahar Q reduce silence to 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds. R range reduced to 600. High risk/high reward. MasterYi Complete rework. If the enemy team has no hard CC, he is unstoppable. If they can lock him down, he's worthless. Mordekaiser Revert the rework and let him keep the dragon pet. Everyone is happy. Nasus Q base damage increased, but stacks slower. 2 for small minions, 3 for large minions, 5 for monsters, 10 for champions, 20 for Dragon and Baron (which stacks off smite as well). This delays the Nasus timer to actual late game unless he is good. Plus it makes jungle Nasus more viable. Nidalee Q make spear damage constant at all ranges. W increase trap damage. E reduce heal AP ratio. Spear has always been broken and toxic, this fixes that. Trap damage increase is to offset spear nerf. Heal is WAY too strong considering the AS buff. Olaf R immune duration reduced to 5 seconds but AD increased to 50/75/100 and lasts for 8 seconds. Smaller window, bigger chance for kill if you reach target. Pantheon R launches faster and lands faster. Right now ult is worthless against any semi-competent team due to the huge delay. Quinn R reworked to give bonus armor and MR while in Valor form. MS and duration reduced. This allows her to actually use her ult fighting up close. RekSai E fury damage reduced to 50%. She does too much damage for the huge utility and mobility. Rengar Complete rework. Is the high risk/high reward thing taken too far. Either completely dominates the game or is completely worthless. Riven Rework. The most hated champion for a good reason. Way too many things wrong to list here. Ryze No one knows what to do with this guy. Good luck. Shaco Q invis reduced to 3 seconds. Skarner Passive completely reworked. Crystals suck, too much is left out of the players control in game. Swain Base MS increases to 350 during ult. TahmKench W CD doubled if used on an ally. E passive changed to 20/25/30/35/40. R range 5000/5500/6000. TK is way too strong as support right now, thus the W adn E changes. First rank ult range too low. Talon Passive reduced to 5%. He already does ridiculous damage, doesn't even really the passive and he scales way too hard off of kills. Teemo Shrooms last 8 minutes. This will make him relevant again. Thresh E passive damage reduced. He does too much damage for his insane utility. Tristana W AP ratio reduced and slow duration reduced. She needs a slight nerf right now. Trundle W AS reduced to 20/30/40/50/60%. Trundle needs slightly reigned in. Tryndamere R cannot be activated while stunned, suppressed, etc. By far the biggest complaint against him. Twitch Q time to stealth based on his current health, 1 second (25% or lower health) to 4 seconds (full health), and lasts 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds with 30% MS. This would make him safer early game and not as toxic late game. Urgot E increase armor reduction and lower damage where it ends up similar overall damage. This would make him relevant again in the meta since he could damage tanks without being OP on squishies. Vayne Q increase CD to 12/9/6/4/2. This would make her less safe early game without majorly affecting her late game. Veigar Q no longer grants permanent AP for assists. He is scaling hard enough already. Vi R reduce AD ratio. Viktor E slightly reduce initial damage and slightly increase augmented damage. This will give better counterplay against it unless the target is CC'd. Warwick Rework so that E is the passive (senses low health and gains scaling MS and range) and the passive is E (activates for lifesteal lasting X seconds). This just makes more sense and would make it more difficult to solo objectives like Baron and Dragon. MonkeyKing Q Needs a slight nerf. Just too strong with Black Cleaver right now. XinZhao Q AD ratio reduced to 1. He has been OP for a LONG time. Yasuo Complete rework. Too broken to fix at this stage. Zed Rework. Too safe and mobile for the amount of damage. Zilean New passive.

These changes would put the game in a MUCH better state and lower toxicity to a record low. I left out the champs that you are already reworking. Hopefully, I didn't miss anyone.

Feel free to hire me for all your balance needs. ;)

Bronze 5 thread, ignore and move on. Hilarious how people down in this elo even try to balance anything. Complete yi rework, my sides. Basically he wants a rework for every champion he doesnt like, bias much. Thx god riot ignores idiots. Also random nerfs for completly fine champions just because he probably doesnt know how to play against them. This guy doesnt even understand that talons passive basically does nothing and want it nerfed to balance him LOLOL, god I rarely facepalmed so hard by reading something. And giving the nidaleespear the q range buff would actually reward nidalee for melee sniping targets , they ADDED the range thing to give her counterplay, hilarious. Please. Dont make more "balance" threads for the love of god.

EU reply, ignore and move on since their #1 team can't beat our #7 team.

Completely basing your reply on someone's perceived ELO, just goes to show that your game IQ is probably in the negatives.

Yi needs a rework. He is toxic as hell in low ELO and completely nonviable in high ELO. That is a champion that needs rework.

Bias? I asked for nerfs on champs I love playing. I just happen to have a thing called objectivity. Something you are obviously lacking since you are a Riven main.

Yes, thank god Riot ignores idiots, so they will never listen to you.

I do well against pretty much any champion and I have played every champion. So I'm pretty sure my opinion is spot on in most cases.

Its not just your elo, its your obvious "balancing" on champions you dont like, they would be completly gutted in some cases without reason. You are bad, your balance thread is shit and thats a fact. God, nearly every of your balance ideas is complete garbage, tryn would be legit the worst champion in the game with that change for example. Nidalees change would make her more toxic. Talons passive nerf would do ABSOLUTLY nothing. You want reworks for champions like zed ( one of the best designed champions in the game holy shit). Xin op, LOL. A fucking shaco nerf, are you kidding me? He is probably one of the weakest champions in the game with several gamechanging bugs that make him not viable and the jungle changes hit him really hard. He needs a rework, a buff, something, not a nerf. A lot of your complains are typical bronze complains people in higher elo meme about, thats why I thought it would be accurate to play the "bronze 5 card". Just stop.

Wow, you must have just skimmed my reply and not actually read it. I clearly stated I was nerfing champions I like and play as well as others. You say that my thread is shit for a fact, but that is purely your opinion. Most players would agree with me over you.

If the nerf to Trynd was too much, he would get a compensation buff. People said that Veigar would never be played after the stun nerf, but he is great now.

I honestly want to know how the changes I put forth would make Nid more toxic. Good luck explaining that one.

Talon is tricky. You don't want to nerf him too hard, otherwise he is worthless. So you do it in gradual steps.

The fact that you say Zed is the best designed champ just further lowers your credibility. Xin is almost exclusively played jungle now because his synergy with Devourer is about as broken as it gets. The Shaco nerf was to lower the toxicity, he can be comped elsewhere.

The balance changes I presented are a pretty good consensus of high and low ELO. I think you are against it for the simple fact you would never be able to climb the ladder on a champion that wasn't OP.

Fizz E CD increased 5 seconds at every rank. This is an ult level ability that can currently be used THREE times in long teamfights.

@Riot remove low elo scrubs ability to post and vote on these boards already.

don't be suprised, some of your proposals are just hilarious. many times you want nerfs on weak/very weak champions (nasus, shaco, trundle, malzahar), or the nerfs are just insanely hard (fizz, tryndamere, jinx, cho gath). you have hardly any clue about it, try to get higher elos with those champions and then post threads about balance

Lugg1 votes

I have to say I am surprised. Any decent Nasus player can get 300 stacks around the 15-20 minute mark and his early game is nowhere near as bad as people say it is. Shaco was more about toxicity, but comp buffs could be added. Trundle can duel pretty much any champ with his ult. No clue why you put Malz on there as well, he has had a high win rate all year at every elo.

Insanely hard? You have to be kidding. 99.9% of players agree the CD on Fizz is way too short. Trynd is broken. Jinx has been OP since release. Cho has an overloaded kit. They all can and have been played with success at high elo.

im guessing it's not smart to argue with me about nasus, i'm the only nasus main that hit challenger in eune this season. you can stack even 500 in 20 (which happens maybe 1/20 games on my elo, where people actually know what they are doing), it does not matter as you will be kited to oblivion and forced to hit their front line for 300 dmg per q. and yes, his early game is horrible as he can be EASILY zoned by any counter, especially after armor nerfs trundle isn't as bad, but is weak overall compared to other top lane choices now, for obvious reasons. not good and not bad, there is absolutely no reason for nerfs though malzahar suffers from lack of range and mobility, also cleanse counters him really hard (mikaels makes him nearly useless), i haven't even seen him in ranked for ages, there are tons of better picks no matter how hard people will complain about fizz, his e is 90% of his utility, it needs to be on low cooldown, otherwise it would be too easy to shut him down after his engage. let's not forget, that other assassins have a way to go in, assassinate, and go back to safety. fizz can do it only when he builds zhonya, as well as he is forced to build 40% cdr. another thing is that magic resistance counters him really hard, as he doesn't have penetration until his last item in most cases trynd has huge damage, while being extremely squishy and vulnerable to kiting and cc. applying your proposal to his ult is ridiculous, as he would explode every time he would go in. he wouldn't even touch heavy kite/cc teams jinx only power is dealing crits with his aoe rockets with increased range. she has no mobility and easily avoidable cc, taking away crits from her would make her useless, and basicly pointless to pick over other adc btw, i like how you would take crits from jinx (ridiculous nerf), and give vayne such tiny nerf on her early q cooldown. believe me, there is a reason why this overloaded champion is so hated, and she is the strongest adc right now with almost no counterplay cho has strong ratios and base damage, but all his skills are skillshots with very long cooldowns. avoid anything, and he becomes just a bag of walking hp. same case as fizz, 1 magic resistance item counters his burst potential heavily

that's for these, but i won't say your list is worthless. there are some good points for sure, but i can see your lack of experience in it

Thanks for the polite reply. Congrats on making Challenger. :D

As for the champions, Nasus still does stack way too fast. Late game stacking shouldn't reach high levels until late game. I still think he can be effective early if you play passive and just farm since he has good sustain. I have never had a big problem with him, even against hard counters since I just play it smart. If the slower stacking is too harsh, comp buff him.

Malz doesn't have to worry about range much since you can sit back and let your E bounce to the enemy. You can cleanse his E, but then it won't be up for his ult and that's a free kill. If they use it on the ult, it stops the suppression, but a lot of players don't know the damage still goes thru.

Fizz definitely needs the CD increase. It gives him mobility, safety, and AoE damage. It's better than most of the ults in the game. He still has a dash to engage and then can use his E to escape. Right now there is basically no significant counterplay to it since he can use it so often. It's like having a champion that can ult twice in a teamfight.

Trynd is squishy if you build all damage, which he doesn't have to do due to his high crit rate. Bruiser Trynd is a beast.

As for Jinx, name any ADC that can do long range AoE crits non stop. The rockets without the crit are very strong without any crit.

The nerf to Vayne I suggested makes her much more vulnerable early without affecting her late game. She is just WAY too safe early for a hyper carry.

Each of Cho'Gath's abilities is fine on their own, it's just that Riot put them all on one champion. He has the best sustain in the game since he gives him health AND mana. His silence sets up his combo so well that it's hard to get away from the follow up Q and R combo.

The biggest point I'm making with this thread is that their are a LOT of champions out of balance right now and it's ruining the game. I have multiple accounts and have well over 3,000 total games played. Plus I have been able to play against a lot of Plat and Diamond players and I definitely hold my own.

As far as these being your opinion goes, i've read it all and disagree with most of it. Then again i happen to find the game pretty well balanced all in all currently, and yes, including the Juggernauts.

Well considering the number of Diamond players I've beaten, I'd say I'm pretty good.

FYI Aatrox is the highest win rate jungler in the game right now. http://champion.gg/statistics/#?sortBy=general.winPercent&order=descend&roleSort=Jungle

Lugg1 votes

Aatrox is a weird champ. He will have a win spike for a week or two where he is on top. Then he will drop down well below 50% for 2 months. This has been going on most of the year. Not sure what is causing it.

Small sample size, mostly. Not enough people playing him, so the few that are good with him can have a huge impact on his win rate.
