Rune Compensation - Some Perspective

For those of you complaining about the compensations on runes - think before you speak.

You're not losing access to runes.

You bought runes in the past, yes, I get that. You spent IP on those runes, and apparently as a veteran player, that makes you entitled to something. The old runes are all going away, yes, this is true. However, they're all also being replaced. The runes system is getting a modernized, like a VGU of sorts. It's like your iPhone getting a new iOS that updates your keyboard and removes outdated Apple software that's been integrated into other programs. You're losing, old, outdated files, but gaining new, flashy ones. This time, you're getting compensated for the shift. You still got every inch of value out of the old runes you purchased. You're now getting extra value because you're getting something back on items you've gotten all the use out of.

Please stop acting like this is the end of your world. You got your use out of the runes. You're getting new ones. You're getting paid for your old ones. You completely win here. You are not losing anything at all, because the items you're getting paid for have been valuable and usable to you up until the very end. The fact that you're getting partially refunded is great. It's like selling your old clothes to a thrift shop. Please stop complaining, and put some perspective on what you're getting, not what you're not getting.
