i wouldn't mind the absurd level of self-peel she has if i could actually outplay it, but it's a massive point and click knockback + her jump that for some reason cancels out pulls 
. it's so frustrating that i can even build items meant to let me rush people down and righteous glory plus flash still won't be enough to keep her from repeatedly disengaging me

DeadUnborn1 votesthe key is to cancel her W as she is just used it. For example if you are darius, you should keep your E until you see she starts jumping so she can't get away. Sure she can still use her ult to knock you back, but that is on a longer CD and she won't have it at an important time later on likely. Other ADCs like Xayah, Corki, Lucian and Vayne have self peel, so I wouldn't consider tristana to be broken really. Besides she takes a long time to scale, that's her trade of for being so safe
