I need to learn a jungler for when I get autofilled. Who is a good pick?

I tend to see a pretty wide variety in the champions picked as jungle, but they seem to trend towards AD champs. I'm thinking I should learn Warwick or Vi maybe, because I'd like to remain useful if behind (CC or buffs). For that reason I'm opposed to picking something too "get fed or be useless" like a true assassin (Khazix, Lee SIn, Kayn), but open to learning the playstyle if they truly are the best generalist picks.

I asked this question on the League subreddit's discord and the advice was Amumu, but trying him in practice doesn't seem to work well for me. Too reliant on the rest of the team to actually secure kills. I'd like to be a bit more self-sufficient on my jungler.

Nunu & Willump are pretty much the definition of "easy jungler that's good even if you're behind". They are a tank. They don't need a ton of kills or damage to do their job, they just need to be there. They bring plenty of CC for ganks so your laners don't have to, their clear is insanely healthy, and their objective control means that you can take (or steal) dragons with ease.

My personal favourite is Zac.

He doesnt require too much specific jungle mechanics since you have no mana and plenty of sustain in your passive, you also arent punished as much for bad ganks due to your revival.

He is always a threat, being a stupidly strong ganker early and an unkillable monster late.

He is basically an amumu with a little less team reliance.

Other than that, theres always Xin or Vi, who are both relatively simple to play and can have massive impacts on games.

If you are really going to learn a champion, Ivern and RekSai are incredible.

Rek has a great early game and powerful ganks while also becoming a great diver and initiator for teamfights, meaning you can have control of the game at all stages.

Ivern is completely different to everyone else and though he is a support jungler, he can most certainly hold his own in skirmishes. He is hardly ever picked or bans meaning you will (nearly) always be able to play him, and since you are filled, you probably arent as good as your teammates. Playing Ivern means you can sit back a bit and let them do the carrying, while you keep them alive.

If you’re willing to put the time in Kayn. He can be a team fight monster that crushes tanks or a squishy players worst nightmare depending on what your team needs.

Amumu is an easy jungler that even if he is level 6 when the enemy is level 18. is still useful to the team. That ultimate is pretty close to an auto win for any teamfight.

Warwick Is a pretty easy jungler. He doesn't need a leash, so if you get invaded and need to run to another buff. you can solo it if need be.

Olaf Just runs people down. Pretty easy pretty fun.

I use Morgana Zyra Best Junglers in the game.

(Most of the community wouldn't agree with me, because they've never tried it and don't adjust their builds for the role, but yeah; They are by far some of the hardest junglers to counter, are extremely self reliant, can backdoor turrets without risk, can drake, build to push turrets harder than most junglers can, are almost uninvadeable and have some of the strongest skill shot CC in the game. They also can finish camps almost at perfect health if played correctly, and a bit faster than about 70% of the meta roster)
