Rune Combinations

I just noticed reading through the surrender@20 thread for the PBE dump of the day that you gave specific names to each Rune Combination. For instance, Sorcery plus Domination is "The Calamity" . Sorcery plus Inspiration is "The Cryptic".

So my question on this is: Why?

What point is there? If I take precision as my primary rune type, no matter what I pair it with, I'm getting bonus attack speed. That's all I'm getting. The only time this makes sense to me at all is inspiration, because the stats you get when matching it with different runes IS different.

On the PBE list, you literally could have said "Sorcery path adaptive AD bonus decreased from 15 to 12 / Adaptive AP bonus decreased from 25 to 20" , and nothing would have changed at all. These names sound cool on paper, especially the ancient one, but the set bonuses do nowhere near enough to earn these combo names.

But why? They are called set bonus names, but the set bonus is the same no matter what you pair it with. If matching Sorcery gave Some adaptive ad/ap, and then some other bonus specific to domination or so on, I would understand.
