Potion/elixir sharing!

A new job for a support! For the early and late game assistance of any player on a team, potion and elixir sharing! Imagine your support having a very hard time keeping an adc alive, but is able to share HP potions. Or possibly the elixir of iron could be stored with the support for instant use while team fighting, pushing or a quick push. I think it is something to consider, i would be very happy with this change as i support often! Zac

I've been wondering if they would put this in for a while now actually :P I used to do it in DotA (when it was just a game mode in Warcraft III) and I found it real useful - Rito ploxsummoner 7 item 2003

So you're saying a support would go from a useful member of the team to a potion bitch.

ADC: "Hey support, why are you getting boots when you could be getting me an elixer?"

Yes Lord Dusteon. The only job the support would ever have after this being added to the game, is to buy potions. Yeah, sounds right.

The supports normal in lane job is to protect the adc so they get farm to carry lategame. Guess what, constant hp + mana pots and elixirs make whichever adc gets them have a large advantage. While sure, the support will be behind on items, the adc gets more damage and sustain for "free". Since whichever adc has constant mana and extra AD has an insane advantage, both supports would be pushed into a potion bitch role, kinda like how warding used to be.

It is also a choice . . . you don't seem to have very much of an open mind. While you could look at it just as though the support is FORCED to buy all of these things, the team is FORCED to make a decision that can both hurt and gain ground. Make the support fall even more behind, or give the advantage the team needs to win lane or something of the sort. If the support that bought elixirs or maybe potions for their adc loses lane it is a major disadvantage.

You also seem to think that sustain comes free, which is never true. While this being on the table, the current meta for a support is to buy items that support the type of gameplay that i needed along with the fact they need to keep their adc alive. The only person that is actually suggesting that supports will be a bitch role (Lol as if supports all ready aren't in that sort of position) is you. Not to mention, why does this matter? In an actual team of five, in ranked your goal is to win a game. In order to win a game, you need to assist your team. And why not have more ways to assist your team, because you are afraid of the supports having more of a supportive possibility?
