i know how to nerfish/fix ezreal without taking away tear or abusing sheen power levels...

(thats basically just like a Crit item early game)...

heres the solution: make on his hits scale throughout the game from 50% to 125-50% early to late game on his Q. (scales on personal level) that would make his power spike sheen less oppressive early while still remaining a scaler late game.

that would allow us to keep our double tear builds and stuff

im not saying he needs absolute nerfs just a damage fix for early using sheen and yes he could be still have a Q scaling late game since thats his identity . you know the old saying "we cant have nice things if ezreal uses/abuses them" tear could come back if this change would be made. maybe laning vs sheen will be less like a poor mans early Crit item

Ezreal isn’t a problem. He doesn’t scale that well, his damage output doesn’t match Draven early, or jinx late.

All he has is Midgame, which is by far the hardest area of the game to be strong in.

oh.... but this isnt a complaint in strength its a suggestion of early game trading for late game also the idea of being double tear builds due to the change.

Double tear wasn’t an issue because of the damage he output. It was an issue because of the MASSIVE shield he got from seraphs. Like. This thing was breaking 1500 hp shield.

Yeah. It shields for 150 + 25% of mana So with Muramana, seraphs, ibg he had 3890 mana.

That gave him a 1097.5 health shield. On an active.

That’s lowballing it. He can easily have more mana than that in his build.

Double tear's issue was never with sheen but the fact that both items have him way too much. Muramana did way too much damage and he got a massive shield from seraphs and this is not even counting how much AD and AP he got just from those two items alone.

isnt the point of tear is to give up some gold now to invest in a item scaling later (btw i didnt know a shield can get that massive)

What is he giving up? He will stack both tear items relatively fast with how he spam spells and him losing a small amount of AD initially isn't something he would ever care since the second tear is going to be increasing both of his stats. All he has to do is finish item 3003 and he is set, he doesn't even need to finish stacking the tear to get massive benefits from them due to his kit scaling pretty well with both AD and AP and he only gets stronger afterwards. Why should a mid game champion spike harder than a hyperscaling one?
