The boards have gotten what the boards have asked for
So why are ya'll complaining about it? The boards asked for the jungle to be nerfed. Jungle got nerfed. The boards asked for a change so that Junglers won't be rushing top/mid/bot for an early gank. Scuttle became a Jungler objective, now rushing an early gank makes it extremely risky since you may lose your chance at getting a scuttle.
The boards asked for nerfs, Riot delivered. Do I agree with how they did it? Hell no. But they delivered what the boards requested.
Skirmisher are now at an advantageous position in the jungle? Give me a break. They've always been. They clear better, they sustain better, they duel better, they teamfight better. Some have been and still are just as good at abusing duskblade. Pure tanks have always been innately bad at clearing unless an item that's pretty busted is carrying them. Assassins are better off than tanks but have generally lost to Skirmishers in the jungle except for the few times Assassins were ridiculously overpowered.
People complained about burst damage. People complained that Riot favors assassins.
Assassin junglers are nerfed by the jungle nerfs, so it's harder for them to come online and burst you. Kha'zix is getting his ult reverted, so he'll be no exception to Skirmisher dominance. Since Skirmishers, which are less bursty, and less able to sneak up on you, are now dominant, Riot partially addressed people's complaints about burst damage and assassins. Certainly not in the right way, but they addressed it.
People have been unhappy about things being balanced around pro play. And with good reason. And Riot has listened closely. So Riot is now trying to rework champions that are dominant in pro play to be better for solo queue and worse for pro play.
**The boards got what the boards asked for. **Could Riot have done better jobs? I definitely think so. Am I happy with what they did to the jungle? Not in the slightest. But Riot did not merely change the jungle for the sake of changing the jungle. The boards were very vocal about what they wanted. Both jungling and early ganking got nerfed, just as the boards desired.
So in the spirit of Kled, I just have one little bit more I want to say. Could you stop bitchin' about how Riot doesn't listen to the community for one minute? Their implementation of these changes sucked majorly. But did they ignore the community? No. The community asked for junglers to have their early game nerfed for months. Riot listened.
And exactly because they listened to the community, Scuttle is now a major early objective in the jungle.
