Janna's nerf won't do anything

What's the point in those nerfs? Yes, she's been the highest winrate support for several months, but realistically, what would you play if not Janna?

http://champion.gg/statistics/#?roleSort=Support&sortBy=general.playPercent&order=descend out of the top 10 picked supports there are 6 tanks and Morgana (a champ that Janna counters REALLY hard), the only champs that somewhat counter Janna out of those 9 are Soraka and Nami both being picked roughly 6% and 7% of the times in ranked.

So if i pick Janna i basically have more than 70% of the chance to play against a champ i counter.

Do you know wich are Janna's hardest counters? Poke-sustain supports.

Do you know how many times was Janna picked in S3? Nearly NEVER, because poke supports were relevant and strong, i was called a troll many times in S3 for picking Janna (now you get called a troll for picking Sona).

Now poke supports are irrelevant and nearly never picked, maybe it's time to buff them so i don't have to instalock Janna or Soraka every game in order to deal with tank supports, because that's really the only thing you can do nowadays.

Those nerfs are also really dumb (no offense): they will achieve nothing, Janna will still counter tanks as she's always done and her winrate will mostly remain the same.

Agreed. Janna basically has to be utterly %%%% to not be good right now because when your entire point is negating engage and engage is 99% of the meta... how can you possibly not be valuable?

It is ridiculous how many nerfs she has taken over the last year considering none of them have budged her out of her position. Either buff the poke supports or nerf the tank supports and Janna will disappear. It's not her fault that Riot has destroyed all of her counters.

Shield on you, AA on Morgana.

Won lane, there is nothing Morg can do about that.

Morg E is a direct counter to Janna. Especially in team fights when she puts it on their initiator and you can't ult them away or cc them at all. In lane it is by far a skill matchup but in team fights Morg's E negates Janna's entire purpose.

lol no, you can't do %%%% as Morg in lane vs Janna, Morg's shield and W has basically zero use vs Janna in lane and her ult is a direct counter to Morg's ult, and Janna with empowered AD from shield >>>>> anything Morg tries to do

If morg black shields herself after she ults, your ult does nothing. Also as good as janna peeling is. Morgs Q does more damage than Janna's shield and is 3 seconds long at level 9 when maxed. W is useless sure, but it definitely isnt an easy lane. It is a skill matchup 100 percent.

My imaginary team fight? lol you just said the enemy would group perfectly to allow a 5 man ult from you. Also initiators such as malphite, maokai, vi, and Gnar don't really care if you blow their team away. They can't be cced and are gigantic tanks. waste your %%%% on them then 1 v 5, he did his job then. Also janna ult does .75 seconds of knockback. Not that hard for the team to get back in lol unless you are confident you can slaughter the initiator that quickly and not waste anything on them that you need for a carry. Also you just wasted your ult heal to do that and now morg has free rein for her ult since you wasted it on the initiator who is cc immune.

It's really not a skill matchup all you have to do is not get hit by Morg's Q (wich is not hard at all since Janna is extremely fast once she gets W) and you're guaranteed to win any kind of trade-all in and trust me if Morg uses the shield on the initiator then she can't use it on herself so you can just R away and she wasted ult.

yeah but you just E on yourself then AA the Braum and he gets free harras and he can't do anything about that (as long as you harrass from the minion wave)

hell, you can even just AA normally without shield and he can't do anything about that

"Dodge an ability the entire laning phase" is not a viable argument. I could say, just never be hit by Janna Q's and then crap on her but that wouldn't be a legit argument
You just said you would use your ult to push away the team from the initiator then said you would use it for morg ult after. You dont have 2 ults mate.

Look, i'm not good at explaining things, just trust me that there is no way a Morgana can win or even go even in lane vs Janna, i did test this matchup a stupid amount of times and she always wins.
