Does anyone else feel like autofill is this year's flex queue?

I feel like autofill is something that is going to last all season, with people complaining about it and pointing out it's many severe flaws, and then Riot's going to come back at the end of the season and like with flex queue be like "our bad, we were wrong, and autofilled caused more/worse problems then it helped". Because, personally, autofill is a lot worse than flex queue in a lot of ways.

I like that Riot listens to its players. But it seems like on big queue/role issues like this they take an entire season to figure out something isn't working, which is really, really frustrating.
