that was worth scrolling down for, and an up vote

I agree with a slow reduction rather than actual tenacity.

Yea, Tenacity doesn't make a lot of sense on Rammus in my opinion? I mean after he does his full combo he's just auto attacking and it's not like his Ground Tremor is a channel or anything. Slow Reduction would make more sense for him.

Didn't the thornmail change help rammus? Also, just give him a large amount of slow reduction when in powerball. I'm tired of getting smacked to 250 ms mid ball when I hit a shroom or something that slows.

Edit: My total mistake, so this stupid post was removed.

Do the math before spouting circle jerk misinformation. Thorn mail is (ironically) much stronger as a standalone item and scales exceptionally well on Rammus in particular, especially against teams where the main auto attackers aren't 100% physical DPS.

Until your enemy deals more than 167 raw physical damage with their auto attacks, the new thorn mail deals more damage than the old one as a single stand alone item, and it takes even more raw physical damage if you factor in that it now scales with his DBC bonus armor as well (they need to deal more than ~337 raw physical damage per attack to take less return damage than before the Thornmail nerf)

Even late game on Rammus it is at least as good as before since it returns what is equivalent to the auto attacker dealing 697 raw physical damage per hit if he can stack armor and activate DBC, which even against an ADC is roughly the same return damage as before on average.

Thornmail is also exceptional for boosting jungle clear speeds now since the return damage is guaranteed to be sometimes almost 50% higher than before when facing monsters.

Embarrassingly enough, this is my bad mistake.

Sorry for the misinformation, I missed the part on damage return not being reduced by Black-cleaver. >_<

Indeed, plus Rammus got a 10 damage buff on his W and a 0.5 armor per level buff. Thornmail change did in fact help him since Thornmail and his W gives him 240 bonus armor, giving him 60 bonus damage on Thornmail passive and 24 bonus damage on his W.

HOWEVER, I feel like this is a fitting mechanic to put on Rammus' Q...

I GANK LANES1 votes

it's 120 bonus armor at max rank

Rueian1 votes

Not his Q, his W should give him tenacity. His Q having tenacity wouldn't make much sense.

He still won't be able to reach Kalista.

gaby1best1 votes

She kills herself by hitting him tho.

The Bíg Ticket1 votes

Why would you buff Rammus? He is strong currenty. People just haven't figured out that Cinderhulk sucks on him and you have to build Devourer instead.

BuzzinTate4 votes

Rammus is strongest in lane right now because even though he's supposed to be able to tank the entire enemy team late game he has no chance at that currently.

The Bíg Ticket1 votes

No he never was supposed to tank the entire team late game. Late game tanks are an illusion, he is incredibly tanky in the early and midgame, especially at level 9 where no one is gonna break through that 120 MR and armor.

MeesterMoo1 votes

I use his Q to last hit when I play him top LOL

gaby1best1 votes

And you're proud?

The last thing you want on a champion with point and click cc is to make it super easy to use said point and click cc

Laustin Space1 votes

Real talk they should just make his Q avoid lane minions or maybe push them aside like Sion's ult. Wouldn't really hurt his split pushing much at all or his capability to play top. It's the QoL buff he need's to keep up with other junglers who can easily gap close for their gank without this awkward mechanic.

I GANK LANES3 votes

he'd be a ganking op maniac running around the map. he'd literally be unstoppable with the MS he gets plus how long it is, i think 8 seconds

gaby1best1 votes

He got buffed last patch.

Trash ADC Btw1 votes

How about it scales upwards in damage and knockback based on how fast he's moving as well?

o0O Madoka O0o1 votes

Kinda makes senses for a unstoppable ball. I'm just not sure if it will make him too strong to be stopped.

Budupops1 votes

he would be extremely brokent rhen

ninjaIRL 1 votes

What if his Powerball damage scaled with movement speed like Hecarim's charge?

Scale it with movement so that he isn't OP. This would buff him to top tier with the new DMP item.

AP movement speed assassin Rammus becomes a thing item 3504 item 3285 item 3100 item 3290 item 3742 item 3117

Ryze "Rammus after red can you gank top?" (as Blue side) Rammus "Ok" 5.5 secs later "An ally is legendary Rammus" (Channel time for TP and he has to get powerball ramped a little P:)

Silents4291 votes

The armor "nerfs" helped Rammus.

And giving him tenacity isn't a good idea, Maybe higher speed when he rolls.

vRuM0lvKDV1 votes

Idk how you guys do but I always do great with rammus. I played him full move speed top and I've won 4/4 games with it LOL. Also he's good ap, and normal build. He's definitely still viable.

BuzzinTate1 votes

What if it just gave him a spell shield, then if someone threw out a stun or a slow he'd be able to get around it
