right now for the gold its worth gives this glass tank feel and nothing more. Which is why sun fire 
is more standardized early. It offers everything you need. Best all around tank item. Thornmail needs to give flat HP or bonus % HP based off max health so ADC or assassins cant abuse.

What it needs is to apply grievous wounds to the attacker, that would solve the problem right there.
ABlueQuaker3 votesIt's a situational 6th item. I like it how it is. Get your standard tank items, then pick up Thornmail if the enemy team is AD Heavy/Auto-Attack reliant. Thornmail has always been polarising when it's been a viable early/mid-game item. Right now only a fool would get Thornmail any earlier than 3rd item. Keep it this way.
is still incredibly cancerous to deal with as an AD-Heavy team, or as an AD Champion in general and it's relatively inexpensive.

It isn't MEANT to be a rush item let alone one you get every game, if ti was, it would mean it was broken.

It just suffers the same issues as the whole Tank-Itemization, it is not slot-efficient and feels really weak in end-game.
Giving it HP would be a sore decision - we dont need 50 Items with the same stats and different passives. That's
