and due to lore reasons I like this, ITS GOOD. However: if you really are going to start killing off champions
as a company you should be offering refunds for the skins and price (RP or IP) it cost to buy that champion
and have those refunds rolled out within the first 2-3 weeks after the death tbh

The game is completely non-canon for the actual story. They just disabled him for the event, but it isnt going to stick.

This is only because MF thinks she took out GP. There are 2 options that I see happening. 1) GP is alive and comes back (most likely) 2) Spooky GP becomes canon and he still comes back. They put tons of effort into a VU and GU for GP so they won't just kill him off.

Do you not realize that the last time Riot actually removed something from the game that players could purchase for IP--they had removed Dodge Chance, and there were Dodge Chance runes at the time--Riot didn't have to be asked to refund it?

Even the lore didn't say that. MF doesn't have the body. Gangplank could, and probably is, be very much alive.
And the idea of them ever offering refunds by deleting a champion is frankly quite silly because there is no way a company this big is going to give refunds to every single person who owns a champ they delete. Which is why they won't delete them.
