It's fine for rengar to kill me in 0.03 seconds
But at least give me time to react to it. You currently have about a tenth of a second to react to his jump from his ult if he flash jumps you.

"just pink ward the entire map and you got htis"
Current State = Can 1 Shot any squishy in .1 seconds and get out with crazy movespeed
After nerf = Will be unable to effectively 1 shot
Seems like a binary champ to me, which would best end in a rework.
Funny thing is, current rengar is a rework. He used to be able to use Q on towers, triple Q was pretty much required, and his ult gave no indicator. He didn't have any movement speed buff after the ult though.
And let's not forget the point and click bola (it had like 550 range)
[deleted]
That's just not true.
First off, as we all know, one of the core items on Rengar is
. I don't need to explain to you what its active does.
Secondly, there is the possibility that rengar purchased
. Most of them have this item by mid/late game if they know what they are doing. The black cleaver is built partially from
. Phage's passive is stated as the following: **Basic attacks grant 20 Flat movement speed for 2 seconds. Killing a target with a basic attack grants 60 flat movement speed. ** Because Rengar's 'Q' is considered an auto attack buff and not a spell, the phage passive still applies.
Lastly, if a Rengar purchases
or any pair of boots with the furor enchantment, he will be granted movement speed from it. Furor's passive is as follows: Upon dealing damage with a single target spell or attack (on hit), grants +12% Movement Speed that decays over 2 seconds.
I have done some math, and according to my calculations
, Killing someone with your auto attack or 'Q' and also utilizing your passives and actives from the above items gives you a whopping total of 605 movement speed. (Granted they purchased Mercury Treads: Furor, Phage, and Youmoo's ghostblade.) My calculations for this result are listed below
Rengar's base movement speed (345) + Merc Treads (45) = 390
390 movement speed + Phage passive (60) = 450
450 movement speed x Youmoo's ghostblade active (20% movement speed or 1.2) = 540
540 movement speed x Furor enchantment passive (12% movement speed or 1.12) = 604.8 or 605 total movement speed.
That's pretty fast in terms of escaping. So you can get a sence of how fast that is, imagine homeguards. (Now a built in passive once you hit the 20 minute mark.) Just from homeguards and Merc Treads, rengar can reach up to 780 movement speed, and that's before it even starts to decay after leaving fountain. In comparison, Rengar's original 600 movement speed from my previous calculations is **more then 3/4 then that of homeguads. **
What do you mean get out with crazy movespeed? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
But is it though?
EDIT: I worked very hard to put this together so I don't expect you to just blow me off with some stupid reply that isn't supported by any facts. If you are going to make a rebuttal atleast make it good and have some sort of counter argument with reasoning.
''Use your red trinket it spots invisible enemies''
You fucking main Rengar, how stoned are you today?
You wot?
Look up the OP's profile, and you will see he mains rengar lol.. yet hes crying about it i dont get it. http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/52404590
Does it really matter?
Rengar killing squishies under 0.10s isn't a rare thing, he's probably tired of Rengar being this broken
Id have more respect for the complaint, however rengar isnt the only champion that does this, therefore its a weak argument to focus just rengar.
At least you can see
and
walk up to you.
oh really?
+ult,
W-R
You can still see them. And if Talon stealths to engage, he's a sitting duck once your carry is dead, assuming they're in the middle of your team.
And what rengar has a blink to get out?
He doesn't need one. He makes people disappear and gets a nice little speed boost to high-tail it out until the enemy team finishes panicking that their carry turned into thin air.
...So does Talon, except all of Talon's spells damage multiple targets except his E.
Q and Auto's with
Talon has to virtually walk within 500 units to jump to you. Rengar has a leap range.
That's why any Talon worth his salt runs Stormrider's surge. He doesn't need thunderlord's for damage since he's already super bursty, and the MS proc gives him all the safety he needs to get out once he goes in.
i thought salt was a bad thing
It's a figure of speech, I don't mean salt in the gaming sense.
With leblanc it's about the easiest thing to just flash one of her W's, the only way you don't get the flash is if she jumps across a wall and you don't see her but in that case it's your fault for not having vision.
Then she'll just do it again 30 seconds later at most
U can see Talon's blades with a normal ward as long as it's warded.
And Talon doesn't kill you in 0.10 seconds, you actually have like 1 second to react before you die as a squishy.
As for Leblanc, she can't really turn invisible when she wants so meh
If Talon is 100-0ing you without His ulti for Damage, you fed him. In a normal situation, Talon at best uses one half of his ult to kill you, again, at best. In a typical scenario, he'll need both halves, in which case, he isn't killing you if he is using ulti to get to you. He also doesn't have much time to get to you with his ult and you can see him use it from FoW.
Initiating with ulti is actually one of the most suboptimal ways to engage as Talon.
I noticed that when I first played Talon. 5 of my friends and I went to Twisted Treeline to have some fun. One of my team members realized he had class and left us alone to 2v3. When I was ulting to go in I couldn't kill them as fast, I learned real quick that I needed to go in and then ult for the damages.

Those websites don't have valid info. Check his official match history on the website, it only shows ranked but you can see he doesn't main Rengar.
I typed his summoner name into the League Client, and sure enough he mains rengar. 201.3k mastery points. Jeez even when the information is right in front of people, they still think its a lie.

Huh... guess he doesn't play his main in ranked. ... I guess to be fair I used to not when I played Rumble, lol.
It's his most played in ranked too, again, ppl don't believe the truth even if it's rite in their face... sad community.

Not recently. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-history/NA1/215173624 One Rengar match in which he fed pretty hard.
There's a ton of Rengar in his ranked but, not recently so... can't really classify that as a main. Its like calling me an Udyr main, I haven't played him since like last year but I think I have the most games as him(Or is that Shaco?..).
You fucking main Rengar, how stoned are you today?
Even an ex rengar main thinks its bullshit ya

Even an ex rengar main thinks its bullshit ya
Why "ex rengar main"?
Wouldn't that make his point of view more valuable since he has so much experience with Rengar and understands him better than the average player?
It makes his argument contradictory seeing as he mains the champion.
Contradictory to what?! There's nothing inaccurate about his post being that Rengar can delete people in 0.01 seconds. I find your argument contrarian.
The fact that he is complaining about his main is contradictory. Do you understand now>?
No it does not. In fact I would take his word over that of someone who never plays Rengar (like myself) because he would have better knowledge of the character's mechanics and overall strengths. It is not contradictory to admit certain aspects of a character you play may be oppressive or otherwise completely unfun to play against.
You'd hope the Yasuo/Riven/Fizz mains would learn something from this guy.
And people wonder why I say tanks are more fair than assassins; sure tanks have crowd control, but that can be removed a variety of ways (cleanse, hourglass, banshee's veil, ext). However riot removed revive, while the hourglass and other revive mechanics just delay being instantly killed by the duration of their uncontrollable animation. Yet tanks get nerfed first and more often than assassins . . . [zombie-brand-clap]
I'll take instagib knife cats over tank meta. Any day.
Look at it like this; would you rather see who can disrupt eachother more effectively, or see who spends more of the game not playing? Personally I'd rather play a video game than watch it.
Crown Control :To take away control from a player
Tanks have this. You aren't playing the game when stunned for 7 hours either.

What does any of that have to do with the point I made?
That cc can be circumvented, but respawning cannot be, that is my point you missed; and thus making your own claim ignorant & redundant, as others agree.
201.3k Mastery points on Rengar. Such a hypocrite
How is that being hypocritcal at all? Good god, every champ I play is held afloat by cheesy low counterplay gimmicks, and I readily admit it. His experience with Rengar makes him a good judge of his counterplay health, not a hypocrite for enjoying playing him.

I wouldn't say it makes him a good judge, one would expect him to be biased in favor of rengar, though it's still possible for him to see him as bullshit,of course, that doesn't make him a hypocrite at all, you're supposed to play to win, nothing wrong with picking bullshit champs.
