The assassin role makes no sense in League of Legends
EDIT: DON'T BOTHER READING THIS..... JUST DOWN VOTE BECAUSE THAT IS HOW THE COMMUNITY WORKS.
When I look at the assassin role. Its one of those roles that outclasses almost every other role and it's the most unbalanced role. It almost makes League of Legends an "unskilled game". This role bring some of the most incompetent, unfair, and utterly destructive kits in the game that are harshly fragile to any change/nerf which can completely annihilate a champion's power. This game is creating assassins unfairly and incorrectly.
This includes but is not limited to the following:

Now to better justify why this role is so incompetent I am going to explain some of the points the all these champions have in common:
-
Almost every assassin has mobility of some sort. This is some sort of mechanic that all assassin's share for some reason. The word assassin essentially does mean a murder in a surprise attack or in quick succession and having a means of escape without getting spotted. Riot does a good job of implementing that into the game with these champions, but how fair does it make the rest of the game? No other champion has this extremely valuable mechanic and that forces the assassin to be completely dominant. When it comes down to fighting these champions, it really closes in on who can react quicker than the opponent turning this game into a button smash-a thon.

Assassins have some of the highest damage ratios in the game. While yes the assassin must assassinate one target, but when you punch so much damage into one ability it turns into a death fest. Especially looking towards
who both have spells that can hit multiple targets and remove their target's HP from flat out existence. While playing this champions might be extremely fun, playing against them is more difficult which is why we need Riots counterplay. -
Assassin's get treated as the kings of the summoner's rift who look at other roles to be peasants. Almost every role has a sheer punishment, but assassins can't receive a proper form of punishment because they have extreme extra safety which personally doesn't fit what assassin's are supposed to do in reality. To me an assassin is risking his or her life of going in and killing someone and they have to be smart and logical and they have to plan out their decision so they don't get caught and they know they don't have the ultimate safety to pull something like that. Take it as a real life situation. If you had a test coming in a class would you already have the ultimate safety of say your parents yelling at the tacher to give you a good grade or do you actually have to work for that A? An assassin isn't someone who knows they are automatically safe and they can go in and murder someone and just get out like pish posh easy peasy. That is not how assassin's work. It takes time, planning, decision making, logical common sense before committing an assassination.

The escape mechanic: While this mechanic does suit an assassin playstyle, It shouldn't be given to them no matter where they are or what they are doing. Again, an assassin isn't freely given escapes and winning situations.
does however show a great example of this that she requires to gain a kill and she is provided with an escape. That is how all assassin's should work. It is not supposed to be the mentality of free escapes whenever. In real life, you make a mistake, you deal with it because you aren't getting out of that situation that easily. In reality, it doesn't make an logical sense that as an assassin if you fuck up on your plan to kill someone, you are obviously fucked. In this game however, you make a mistake you have to ability to just undo it and pretend you made no mistake. How does that make any sense???? It forces the game to have no in-built skill and decision making by the players.
Tl;DR While assassin's are highly enjoyable champions to play, they also make for some of the most unfair and incompetent champions to play. All assassin's in general need to work like true assassins of going in at the right time knowing that if this isn't executed well I might be dead and I won't be able to escape. Thank you for reading this very long post, I just wanted to state my opinion that assassins in this game are being created incorrectly.
