How do you deal with Yi as Nasus?

If you try to W him he'll ult, if you try to fight him he'll kill you, if you buy thornmail he'll buy lifesteal, if you buy frozen heart it won't help cause he'll buy rageblade so how do you counter him?

You don't. Nasus can't do anything against Yi.

You don't worry about getting kills and or fighting YI and focus on stacking Q. Once you get strong enough you can pretty much beat his face in with a cane.

maybe with 1500 stacks 45% cdr and a lot of HP but not before that lol, yi counters nasus hard

Get to the point where you two-shot him, or catch him while his ult is down. Other than that, there's not much you can do to win a 1v1 against him. Teamfighting him might work, though, since you can take out a lot of his health and your team can finish him up, all hopefully before you die.

Hey, don't diss it. I've found a lot of times I've had to, usually because of a fed bruiser that I was the only one with the durability and damage to handle. A 6/1 Diana capable of shredding anyone on my team to bits apparently has nothing on a decently-stacked 2/0 Nasus.

fed diana doesn't even need to hit her Q, she can just press R on the carry and one shot it, 0 counterplay

Frozen Heart doesn't effect Yi. Aspeed slows are still slows, Highlander makes him immune to that too.

once yi gets a few kills you have to be careful not to get caught out alone. your whole team needs to be focusing him the same way their whole team typically has to focus nasus.
