Dont give me bullshit like oh she has bad laning phase, she is countered by hard cc!! There is a reason why she is >55% winrate in gold + games, and i believe most people up there will know the game better than bronzies here giving out advice to counter a certain champ.

There are counter champions that katarina players cannot stand. It's really the players fault and also get magic resist and health. health is big.

If Kat was still reliant on ult (like Old Kat was), I'd agree, but she doesn't need it to get her resets, and after she gets those resets, it doesn't matter whether she had ult interrupted or not.

She's excellent on ganks which bot lane always seem to not listen to pings, carry wards, map awareness, etc. Yea her attacks may be strong like any other fed characters, but easily counterable. Just always be ready for kat if she's your opponent. If she is fed, well get banshee, zhonyas, or even health with magic resist. Or play defensively which you should always do if you're having trouble. This is why there is draft picking which players are given the opportunity to counter each champions.
In diamond kat gets countered way too easily.

You could say the same thing about every champion in the game. Oh, do they do physical damage? Buy armor! That doesn't make something any more or less balanced. If Kat were really so easily countered, she wouldn't have the high winrate that she has (not saying that alone makes her OP, but it also means she's not some easily-shut-down champ like you make it sound).

Old katarina had a better E and a better Q and her W was awesome. Her E had bigger damage and 35% damage reduction, Her Q did not degrade when it bounce it hit all targets as if it was the 1st one hit and it did more damage on top of having reduced healing which might i add was great vs sustain lanes.
Irelia Bot3 votesStrangly enough my team was givne kat in nemisis draft because we were pickking all super hard CC tanks with low damage for the other team.
We won but it was becuase mundo carried. Not because kat became nightmare that was killing everything which is never really reached a point of being even with 14 kills later on in an 55 minute game.
She has strong and weak points and if the enemy team has little to no means of dealing with her then she is a problem but if they do have the means to stop her she becomes next to useless.
Jefftiffy1 votesI love the people saying Kata isn't reliant on ult for resets. She has never had any changes to her kit besides nerfs to her ult other than the 1 ult buff that made it do more damage because it lasted and extra .5s with the same dps.
She is either a team shredder or a vulture. She doesn't have a presence besides that if you shut her down properly which includes bringing CC that actually stops her ult, preferably AoE hard CC.

They need to do what they did with zilean q and veigar q and make it a skillshot, its bullcrap. It's like riot only does things based on how ranked does. Katarina ruins the fun of every game I play against her. If I want to play my main champion and i'm fighting a kat, it ruins the game. I also think if there was a cast time on her e it would make it better. So less damage on ult, skill shot as q, and cast time on e. And cast time should be like yasuo q where it isn't long but it makes a difference. ty for reading
