Is just one small reason why promotions have got to go, and MMR should be what actually dictates rank.

and MMR should be what actually dictates rank.

But you are 12W-17L (41% WR) in ranked lol

I made the mistake of starting solo last week of last season. I've only done flex so far, which is 15-6

GL dude. Flex is kinda crazy. I'm G5, but my placements (after the hotfix, mind you) were in high Plat - high Diamond ELO. Got placed Plat 4 lol

Flex has been fine. I went 7-3 in initial placement, put in gold 4(which is what op.gg says I'm at) then the 'fix' went in, won that and put into silver 2. I stopped after doing my silver 1 promo due to time, and not sure if I'll play ranked until the soft reset happens just because I don't really want to have to climb out of silver twice in each queue which is bound to happen.

To expand on last season My mistake was just trying to get gold like in prior seasons at the last minute and got team after team with people tanking games. I was in gold promo with two hours left and the first promo game I got some rager ADC who int'd. Ended with a hour left and needed to win 3 games (or at least have two won and be in the game prior to the season end).

meh. Its fun to say specifically in that exact situation. You know it hits them right in the soul.

Only if they give a shit about their rank. On my lower accounts I just use it as an excuse to do stupid shit. Had someone tell me that I was using silver logic and I was just like, lol, good thing I'm silver then XD, and kept doing it.
