If they take this out I well be sad, it is one of the only things that makes talon good, He still has a silence. The only other champs I can think of are malz, victor, fid, and blitz.

I like the slow, but taking away silence is really big nerf.

Thugh I do understand why they plan to do that. His jump is similar to that of Katarina - instant. Enemy has no time to react and when he does he has silence.

Imagine that Katarina would give silence when jumping. Or Zed with his ulti, that does not seem pretty.

But I agree that this short silence was helping him a lot.

Definitely his Silence is a pain, but he NEEDS it to function in his current iteration: He needs reworked if they want to remove the silence, not just have it removed and leave him alone. He can't lane or trade at all without it until he's level 6, and it's way too risky to have him jump behind targets without it (Imagine E'ing onto a syndra and being immediately knocked back into turret).

As a champion, he's going to be a trash pick without it. Without the silence, he can't compete with any mage in mid lane, and he's far too weak at dueling to be a proper Top Laner (though, the way top is going, it's all ranged champs anyway aka mid version 2).

I do think he's overpowered, and I do think he needs changed, just as a whole champion, not just one ability. There's no way to fix his kit as it is. No silence and he doesn't exist, with silence he's an ultra snowbally insta-nuke assassin.

That said, because he's relatively niche pick, I do definitely think they need to leave him alone until he's properly reworked. If it were a top pick, it'd be different, but you're not going to see him very often unless guys at worlds play him.

AP trist has less counterplay and more damage by a mile and a half, and she's been left alone for ages. The only reason Talon is getting nerfed is because he's an assassin, and Riot insists on nerfing every assassin (except Zed, because Morello loves Zed) until ADCs are godmode again.

both kat and zed have a lot more mobility. Kat can jump to minions and zed can jump everywhere with his shadows. Talons ult is his only escape ability and that removes a lot of your early kill potential if you have to use it as such.

Silence must just be too overpowered for the League community. We should start the petition to remove silence from all champions or equally provide all champions Q with a silence.

Unless it actually isn't overpowered and some people are just bad & deserve the beat down coming.

Well, I have to agree with you all, Talon's silence was one of the only great things with him besides his deadly burst, now that they've removed his E silence and instead put a 1 sec 99% slow...He'll be in for some scary situations now....

I agree. I get why they want to remove the silence, but a slow is basically useless when every champ your fighting either has a stun or an escape. There is a lot of room to buff talon if the silence is removed, but a slow is a joke.
