I like how instead of a Champion who has %HP Damage tacked on,

Kindred is a purely %HP (Current and Max) damage type champ. She has low ratios, but a good amount of damage comes from her % damage.

What you may not realize about the design is how feast or famine it is. Bad ratios means Kindred MUST get stacks to be a relevant damage threat and it forces so much power into the on hit %damage that Riot has to nerf Sated to let Kindred go live.

Well, if my knowledge is correct, the auto attacks from Wolf count as auto attacks, so technically Kindred would get the proc's off in "two" auto attacks any ways right? Not 100% sure if Wolf actually does count as an AA, just a speculation really.

Wolf does proc the %hp damage on its attacks, but to my knowledge wolf does not interact with sated, only lamb attacks do.

  • Wolf's attacks proc only their own passive, for 40% of its damage. Lamb procs it for 1,25% per stack, so Wolf procs it for 0,5% per stack.
  • Wolf procs the passive with every hit during W and on his single hit during E.
  • Wolf does not proc any other on-hit effects.
  • Wolf marks jungle camps that give 1 stack each, like champions. He will keep marking camps until 6 are consumed, then he will stop. So, 6 stacks are always guaranteed even with no kills.
  • 6-7 stacks almost equal a item 3153.
  • When reasonably fed, a normal amount of stacks to have by late game is 10-15. That's 12.5%-18.75% HP per hit. Add another 8% from item 3153 which is core on them, and a fed Lamb can hit for 20-25% of the enemy's current HP per hit.
  • Keep in mind that both her passive, her skill damage and item 3153 do physical damage, so the % current HP damage will affect tanks much less than squishies, if they build armor. It's not axactly tankbuster mechanic, it's just a % approach instead of the typical large amounts of flat physical damage the ADCs output. Armor (and not HP) will be the counter stat against the Kindred. I'm expecting Thornmail to hurt them extremely much, since they will do large amounts of damage against tanks, while themselves are very squishy.
  • Their autoattacks will be better against tanks the more HP they have, because a typical adc's flat damage would be more and more irrelevant, whereas the Kindred's attacks automatically scale with the enemy HP to hurt proportionately. Against a champion with 1000 HP, Caitlyn could potentially oneshot while the Kindred would have to autoattack several times. Against a champion with 50.000 HP, Caitlyn would take a super long time while Kindred would chunk them in more or less the same speed.
  • item 3710 is an option on them, however note that, in that patch, Devourer will proc on the **fourth **attack if your champion is ranged. So, many say that item 3707 is a better option. [Chilling Smite is not mandatory, I just used it as an example.]
