I had such high hopes, Riot. You actually sounded like you knew what you were doing for a couple weeks. Being all random is exactly what Urf needed to be in order for it to actually stay fresh for more than 24 hours. But this? This isn't random, not even close. I've seen the same damn champion in the majority of the games I've played. How the hell is this random? If you really wanted a random experience, you would disable a player's chance to get a champion as soon as they get it once until 5 games later.

I thought you were going to fix URF, but as has been clearly demonstrated, nothing has changed. I wanted to believe in you, Riot. I really did.

I have about 27ish champs I think and I'm not an ARAM account. I just haven't gotten all of the champs yet because I started this season. But I guess it's normal here to shit on new players, huh?

No, it isn't. But ARAM accounts are very common, and people who use them usually ruin the game for the other team, since they are bending the odds into their favor. I admit, it was rude of me.

I have all the champions and i still get the same ones over and over again, and i play with or against the same select few too, it has become way too boring

I completly agree with you. Even if I get a champ I want, the other team always gets better champions and the game is over 5 minutes in. I fail to understand why they want to balance a mode that is meant to be unbalanced. That they complained that the same champs were played over and over again, but I never heard anyone besides riot pointing that out. URF wasn't unbalanced, since everyone picked a champ they thought was good and they could play. It was nearly impossible for me to get mad after a URF game, since I felt that even though I lost I had really fun with a champ that I picked. Now, I get so damn frustrated after every single game that I have to take breaks so I don't freak out. By wanting to "balance" the game mode, you have made it so unbalanced that every single match I hear people complaining about how it isn't fair that they always meet Kassadin, Zed, Leblancs etc when they get Shyvana, Taric etc themselves. URF used to be so stress relieving for me, but not anymore. RIP URF item 3070

I think all they needed was more time between URF weekends, and maybe a few balance changes specific to URF to curb the truly ridiculous champs like xin or sona

I honestly believe it's jsut the mages, at the risk of sounding like a broken record. Zhonya got cheaper over this season, and the focus on mages shifted from being gated by AP to being gated by mana. CDR also became more important than AP, and since every mage gets to start with 80% CDR in Urf, and no mana costs whatsoever, where are the intended weaknesses now? Gone, that's where.

I haven't seen any data that shows mages dominating urf now. Previously it was sona xin Zhao galio fiora... I forget who else was really broken but none were legit mages

I don't know man, Cassiopea, Ryze, and Lux have been pretty dominant. Hell, the permaroot memes about Ryze are actually true in Urf now

My only gripe is that it should have been true random not ARAM random. so every single champ could be picked whether owned or not.

As it stands i keep seeing the free rotation champs and the "busted, overplayed" ones like xin, sona, jax quite a bit. and almost never see the other ones

Very disappointing that I can't play the champ that I want, but will get a champ that I do not want more often than not. I'm actually disgusted. I've had to play champs that I would never buy nor play if they were free and have yet to play a champ that I enjoy. This is after 15 or so games.

I've literally only gotten squisy ADC's in 70% of my URF games, dont beilve me? go look at my op.gg. sivir, sivir, vayne, tristana, sivir, reksai,reksai(useless in urf) I got brand twice, I mean yay, but come on this isnt random at all.

I like the randomness of this mode. Sure it sucks to get a bad champ every now and then but you've got re-rolls.

I see all these posts about enabling the entire champ pool so this game mode and ARAM but I think that is stupid. Riot will NEVER do it. Buying champs is an important part of making a revenue.

I'm also seeing posts asking for bans. I feel that's ok but largely useless. Say you ban the S tier every game, then a new group of champs will become the S tier. It isn't going to solve the issue.

I would prefer that when ARURF comes back the f2p rotation that week has champions which are considered to be OP for the game mode. Secondly allow both teams to have a chance of rolling a champion, like both teams can have a Sona but not more than one.

I hope that made sense.

What you're advocating for isn't random. If something is truly random, there's a chance you get the same champion 4 games in a row. It's a low chance, but the chance still exists.

They should've just unlocked all champions during that game mode.

I have played a good 5 games of urf and have had a damn snake Cassiopeia in 4 of them. Karthus in 2. Kassadin in 3 and then what does our team get? Yasuo, Ashe, Gragas, and the oh so favorable Olaf. I get that every champion in URF has some redeeming quality but why is it I have to play against Zyra and Ezreal without a team of just as ridiculously broken champions. Either let me play what I want, or make it a Russian Roulette. What we have here is an "Angry Wheel," from Wheel of Fortune where it picks either broken or mediocre for one team only. Not only that but tanks are in flavor so naturally, tanks are the dominating force behind it. Why can a full tank Nautilus outdamage me as Talon?

And don't get me started on tank Ekkos and Tahm Kenches.

They dont outdamage you, they outsustain you with their shields. If they cant go tank and play the mode then they are fucking trash since their scallings are usually terrible... I agree though, I am yet to see a game where both teams have broken shit, 1 team usually dominates hard
