eko ult to get .5 sec before becoming untargetable after pressing r (inspired by trynd ult)

The fact that he goes untargetable is really powerful. Right now you can eek out the most out of your HP bar if you feel like you are not going to get bursted and wait till the last second to ult. This would requires some skill to time it right. If you try to abuse too much of your HP before ulting you risk dying before being able to get it off like on .

Active: After a 0.5 second delay, Tryndamere instantly receives FURY and becomes immune to death for 5 seconds during which his health cannot fall below 1. This move is usable even when under the effects of hard crowd control.

It wouldn't telegraph to the enemy sooner either the ult animation would just start .5 sec after you press r. You could even press r and have time to cast one spell before the ult would trigger. Without the enemy knowing any difference.

Cept he is really squishy and if you are getting some focus, that last bit is gone before you know it.

Have plenty of times tried to wait out till the last second and ended up dying before I could ult.

but also very mobile more so than trynd / more utility ability to kite, and trynd while he does have a lot of base hp, he doesn't build tanky. an ekko might have more armor with zhonia and mr with abysal. granted maw is great on trynd. idk i think its pretty close. And regardless a tryndamere can ult just fine even without maw. or a item 3026 or what have you.

sure trynd has more sustain but you can't really risk trying to time your ult with how much lifesteal you could be getting especially if you are kited/cced and not auto attacking since you need someone to hit to sustain.

at level 18 hp difference : trynd = 2291.6 vs ekko = 1944.4. mhhhh ya trynd does have considerable hp... idk i'd give ekko more hp but something would need to be redistributed.

It might work if ekko has about the same base hp as trynd early game at level 6 but falls off late. though that might make him too strong.

trynd hp: 625.64+ 98 ekko hp: 580+80

ekko ARMOR 27.0 – 78.0 MAGIC RES. 32.1 – 53.4

ARMOR 24.1 – 76.8 MAGIC RES. 32.1 – 53.4

interestingly ekko has more armor than trynd. Negligible amount mind you.

i honestly don't know. it might be too difficult might not be. all i know is he has a lot going for him right now.

It isn't quite the same situation though. Ekko's ultimate can take him right out of the fight - he isn't a constant threat in the few seconds after he activates it.

There are some cases that can be made for limiting his ultimate, but I am in favour of waiting a patch.

for sure next patch will tell. i don't think the situation is that different, its about being low on hp and pressing the magic survive button. just thought id throw some ideas out.
