Is the promo series different when going from silver 1 to gold 5?
Im close to getting my promos from s1 to g5, is it different or is it the normal best of 3?

Mysticman891 votesTier promotion series are 5 games instead of 3, and repeatedly failing and reentering the promo series can cause promo helper to get you up to two free wins instead of just 1, but otherwise it's just another promo series.
Same applies all the way to master, although promo helper stops at gold. (Master->challenger is the only weird one that doesn't have an associated series.)
