Sick of these salty mid laners who only queue for support because they don't want 10 minute queue.

I main support, and I buy sight stones, but reportable for not buying one?

Can I report the glass cannons for building no armor or MR? Can I report ADCs that play Kog or Vayne? (that's more offensive imo) Can I report jungler who takes WW Akali Malph or anyone else that cannot gank until level 6? Can I report a top laner that doesn't take TP? Can I report a Mid that goes AD instead of AP when there's and AD top and Bot?

BTW... YOU can buy a sight stone too!

There is no "should be" about it. Riot employees have matter-of-factly stated multiple times that it already is in-fact a reportable offense. I can assure you that myself as well as literally every single person I play with already reports EVERY support that refuses to buy a Sightstone. Our support, the enemy support, win, lose, it doesn't matter; refusing to buy a Sightstone is a form of Intentional Trolling and Assisting the Enemy.

We also report everybody that picks Sona, but that's partially because we've never seen a single Sona with a Sightstone ever since Gutting 4.13.

As a support main, this shouldn't be a thing. Although it is very useful, building a sightstone is not a necessity. I have done just as well, or maybe even better without a sightstone and instead gotten an extra item that was better.

Buying a sightstone is smart.

Expecting the support to be the team's wardbot and only person warding is not. The whole point of trinkets was to make warding and vision a team effort. I'm kind of sad there aren't items for other roles aside from tracking knife that build out of a sightstone.

I cannot tell you how many times I've been asked to ward the Rift Herald at levels 4-8 by the top laner or jungler.... Um???? As if they cannot ward themselves....

Support need to keep bot side river and drag warded, that is their job. You can't rely on retarded adc who refuse to lose a single cs to do it.

So I guess we should report everyone that doesn't follow the meta too.

Emmy Cha0s3 votes

Yes, you should. Meta exists for a reason, because deviating from it intentionally hinders your team's odds of winning.

How do you think metas like jungle Graves get started?? From ppl breaking the meta.

Yes, that is very true. I started playing nidalee in the jungle when they just reworked her. I played her before people consider it as 'meta' .

There's really no such thing as meta. Emmy, you may assume that because professional players are playing them. IT is the meta. But, guess what? I was playing Ad tank fizz in season 3/4/5 in ranked way before he became 'meta'. I did just fine, in fact, I did great. Meta is a given way of saying. I'll follow what the pros did. You repeat the same masteries every game, the same build, the same playstyle.

I am fine with anyone breaking the meta as long as they've a reasoning behind it. If it works, it works.

---- I agree though. ALL supports should get sightstone unless if you know that your team would lose because of a d/c ...

Beldair1 votes

I play Mordekaiser and Renekton support....those are both off-meta picks but they work with how I play and I can get an ADC fed as them.

Sukishoo3 votes

Can I report you for making this idea? No? Well then you can't report someone of not buying an item.

The Deckowner4 votes

I guess by your logic you can't report people for trolling?

Sukishoo1 votes

Nice try but that's not at all related :)

redniwediS3 votes

You don't like the way people play support? Queue up for support so that you know the support will do well.

The Deckowner4 votes

I already main support, but playing support every single game makes you want to kill yourself, especially in lower elo.

Beldair1 votes

Really, because I do that a lot and don't feel that way....

redniwediS1 votes

It might make you feel that way, but don't speak for everyone.

Just do everything you can do to make sure your job is done, no matter which role you end up with. That's all you should be focusing on, and that's all you should expect from anyone else. If they don't do their job oh well, that's their problem not yours.

Partially agree... I mean, reportable might be a bit excessive, but I totally agree sightstone is essential on every support. I also agree all these midlane champion supports are getting real annoying. People need to learn how to support for real, or stay out of my damn role.

I'm sick of those gold players who think they should be allowed to report other people for their build.
